Description

Our Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport athletic work boots offer lightweight performance, but they're all business when it comes to protection. Beginning with mutilation-free, premium ripstop nylon uppers, we added abrasion- resistant screen-prints and TPU toe overlays for extra durability. Not only are they tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, they also feature alloy safety toes, electrical hazard protection, and Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day shock absorption and energy return. Their breathable, moisture-wicking mesh linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, their outsoles are made of heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking polyurethane for enhanced traction and comfort.

  • I like these boots so much that I literally purchased 6 pairs of them - (Updated) I like these boots so much that I literally purchased 6 pairs of them - (Updated)
These are literally the only shoes that I ever wear, ever, and I like them so much, that I actually purchased three pairs of them. However, there are a few things that I need to point out: First: I have a very narrow foot, and I normally never order a wide shoe, but in this boot, I needed to order the wide (W) version. I first purchased the non-wide version, and my big toe would rub against the toe box. So then I ordered one size up, and the boot was too big. So then I decided to order the wide version of the initial size that I ordered, and it fit perfectly. So even if you never order a wide version of a boot or shoe, you might need to order the wide version for this particular boot. If your toe rubs on the toe box, don't give up on these boots, just order the wide version, and see if that helps. Second: I always wear these boots with two different after market insoles inside of each boot, including a gel insole, and a memory foam insole. So when I say that I like these boots, part of the reason at to why I like them so much, definitely has something to do with the after market insoles that I wear inside of them, but nevertheless, I do love these boots, and I highly recommend them. But having said that, the standard insole that come with these boots, will probably not be enough for most people. Furthermore, I always wear two pairs of thick Dickey's kevlar socks, while using these boots. So it is the combination of all of that padding, along with these boots, that makes me enjoy these so much. I have literally purchased close to twenty different pairs of Timberland boots in the last 20 years, and these are by far my favorites. In my opinion, what make these boots stand out from the others that I have worn before, is the sole of the boot. The sole of this boot is semi soft, and has give and cushion to it. The sole of this particular boot has more cushion and give to it, than any other boot you will find in a boot or shoe store; I can pretty much promise you that. In addition to the nearly 20 different Timberland boots that I have owned, I have also owned and tried countless other boots, in my quest to find a good pair to wear, and these are by far my new favorites. I have been wearing them constantly, for an average of twelve hours a day, for almost one full year, and they are still going strong. Unfortunately, what seems to happen, is that when a company finally makes a good product, they seem to change their formula for that particular product, and then in the process they ruin the original version of it. That is why I purchased three pairs of these things, and I will probably purchase another three pairs of them in the not too distant future. I work in a factory all day, every day, and I can't afford to not be wearing good footwear. I have no affiliation with Timberland at all, and this is an independent review. Update on 2/16/2020: I purchased three more pairs of these boots. They are still working very well for me. I wear them about 60 hours a week and over 2500 hours a year. I continue to wear two thick pairs of Dickey's kevlar socks with them, and two after market insoles with them, which include one thin memory foam insert and one gel insert on top of that. But overall, my opinion of these boots has not changed, and I continue to hope that Timberland continues to manufacture them, and that they do not change their formula for making them. One thing that I do want to mention, is the in my last order of three pairs of these boots, one of the pairs was wearing against the back of my heel really hard, and I decided to exchange it for another pair. So the lesson from that experience, is that if one of these pairs wears really hard against your heel, don't give up on them, and try it for a few more days, and then exchange it for another pair if necessary. The other two pairs gave me no problems. I continue to think that the stock Timberland inserts with these boots, are inadequate, but that is fine, given that no single insert will please everyone, and there are plenty of after market inserts to choose from. Lastly, I recommend waiting for these boots to go on sale. I have seen them on Amazon for as much as $120.00 and as low as $104.99. Hope that helps. These are are great, comfortable, durable, and light, safety toe boots. ... show more

  • If you spend time in an industrial setting they’re perfect, heavy duty but comfortable. If you spend time in an industrial setting they’re perfect, heavy duty but comfortable.
Awesome boot, everything I wanted. Now to see how long they last. I’ve been buying the Timberland PRO Euro Hiker boot for about three years now and have been through at least 5 pairs. I really liked those boots as well, but after that long of owning them I finally got fed up with two things: I never laced up the boot using the provided ankle height lace hooks, so the shoe laces were always extra long and over time would work themselves loose being that they’re a round boot lace; Next was the fact that since I never used those two hooks I would constantly get caught up on things such as..the laces from my opposite boot, cables/wiring, and most importantly ladders. I work in a industrial environment with plenty of areas to really hurt yourself, those open lace hooks just became dangerous over time. So I was on the hunt for some new boots. Eventually I made it over to a Red Wing Boots to see if their products had improved. I found a very nice looking boot and insole combo for $230 and after a single night of wearing there was just absolutely no way I was going to keep them. So back to amazon I went and I decided to just go for it and order these being that they had the added feature of a non metallic toe protector. These boots so far, after a week, are everything I was looking for. Thick soles like a work boot, they breath like a sneaker, have the protection of a hard toe, and have flat sneaker laces that hold their grip. These boots are so comfortable it’s kind of weird sometimes. These boots feel like a basketball high top but have the build/look of a work boot. I’m VERY happy with these boots. And the added bonus is they’re very light. I love them. ... show more

  • Best boots ive ever owned
Its worth every penny. I'll update this after 6 months but each boot I had before this one would only last about 6 months and I've had over 3 pair of boots in the past year. I work security so I work standing walking and sitting 5 days a week, this wears boots out FAST. These things are holding up well so far but to expected to be only worn under a month. The more i wear them the more comfortable they get. All day comfort since day one and I haven't been able to achieve that with anything even when using Dr shcols, it's really a relief and what left me inclined to write this review after only having it for under a month. I'm planning on buying a diff pair of boots just for the style. Pants and boots im just a simple man like that. If these hold up..how we all know it will its timberland lol..it will save you money in the long run. 35$-60 for a pair of boots that last on average of 3 months thats basically 140$ a year. While timberlands will last you YEARS. So you get the point. ... show more

  • Light and comfortable
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black/Grey V1
They are very light and comfortable. I have bought already 2 pairs of the low tops, same tipped of shoe but low and there were awesome and I wanted to try this higher top there good and really comfortable but my only issue was one of my shoelaces strap broke off. To me is not a big deal because I sliced a little cut right where the shoelace go and is working fine with no problem. But knowing my other low tops never have any issues whatsoever that’s why I give them 4 stars. ... show more

  • These are awesome boots!
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black/Grey V1
I bought these shoes based on a prior recommendation on Amazon and could not be happier! I recently moved my studio to a space with concrete floors and the switch from wood to concrete was brutal until I put these shoes on my feet. Based on that recommendation I bought a wide fit, which I usually don't need or get, and it was a good call. There are lightweight and very comfortable, and better looking in person! My only complaint is that the inserts are pretty flimsy for a work boot. I replaced them with some Dr. School's get inserts which I would recommend doing. I also wear these with think Meriono wool socks, which keep my feet cool and dry. Overall I am extremely happy with these and would highly recommend them. ... show more

  • They don’t last.
Are these the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn in my 20 years of needing to wear work boots for work? Yes they absolutely are. They are so comfortable and light it’s almost mind blowing. They wear like no other work boot I have experienced. I have owned 3 of these boots in the last 3 years. I buy them with my boot allowance at work for the last 3 years. My first pair cracked at the sole in less than 3 months of use, the other ones faired much better however they did develop a hole right on the bottom of the shoe and rain water always found it’s way into every single pair. They are so comfortable I’m addicted to them and will probably buy another pair, and just switch to leather boots during the rainy season. They are NOT worth the price. If they were $80 I would not complain. Just know that when you buy these, it’s not a matter of IF they will crack, or develop a hole is a matter of WHEN it will happen. If they had a rubberized bottom sole, they would be perfect. 10/10 for comfort 10/10 for quality 4/10 for durability ... show more
