  • Great tent.
Size: 2 Person Color: Grey
It seems to be a quality tent that actually sets up in about a minute. The two-person size is perfect for one person, since it allows plenty of room to store gear also. The rain fly I found to be a slight hassle orienting it to cover the tent and clip it in place. It actually took more time to attach the rain cover than to set up the tent itself. ... show more

  • Absolutely recommend! Get a tarp to lay under it Absolutely recommend! Get a tarp to lay under it
This just destroyed any hesitation I had when it comes to camping. Sets up in literally a couple of minutes, takes down in under 5. Feels very nicely built. Zippers are smooth too. The only thing I found a little odd is the fact that the material on the bottom is not any thicker than the rest of the tent, so I’d recommend getting a tarp to set the tent up on top of. That way it wont get damaged but also keeps the tent cleaner to pack. 6x8 tarp worked out perfectly for me with the 2 person tent. Speaking of packing, this is the only packable thing I ever purchased where you don’t have to fight it to shove it back in the carried bag, goes in super easy - thank you to whoever thought of that. I got the 2 person one, which is perfect for me alone. You could fit another person, but you’d definitely need to be very comfortable with each other. It’s pretty short vertically, something to keep in mind if you prefer a very thick mattress. Absolutely recommend this to anyone, especially if you do not already have a quick set up tent - makes a huge difference. ... show more

  • Impressive little tent
Size: 2 Person Color: Green
This pops up in seconds, staking it down takes a couple minutes longer. I am 6'2" and fit in the tent, but just barely, I have to sleep corner to corner or my head or feet rub the tent wall. Without the rainfly on its wide open and you can gaze at the stars. With the rainfly on you can't see a darn thing outside at all until you unzip it to look out, but it keeps out the wind and rain great. Easy to put up and to take down. It can fit 2 people but then there is no room for anything else and you better like the other person cuz you'll definitely be spooning before the nights over. To me it is a one person tent but it's great. ... show more

  • Great Tent
Size: 1 Person Color: Brown
The setup and break down of this tent is awesome! Super easy to use. I tied this tent to a cot and it survived a couple rain storms. It does well in high winds when weighted down. The only complaints I have is I ordered a brown tent and it's definitely purple. Also, the cover is a little short which allowed rain to come in from either the front or backside. Also, it wouldve been nice if it had tie down points in the front and back of the cover. I used some tent repair patches and 550 cord to make some. ... show more

  • Great for Car Camping
Size: 2 Person Color: Green
Really quick and easy setup and takedown, as expected. Could be slightly improved if the clips for the rainfly were color coordinated so you could match them up more easily. Lots of space inside the tent. Reasonably small when folded up. (We have another similar pop up tent that uses the string pull to setup/expand. Both are the 2 person version. This tent is slightly larger space when setup but also slightly smaller when folded up.) Really great to have 2 doors (a lot of other pop up tents I looked at only have one door). Can have lots of ventilation if needed and both people can get out easily without disturbing the other person. ... show more

  • Not a backpacking tent
Easy to set uo and take down. Thr only issue is that all the poles are connected at the center hub and if it breaks you can't set it up.

  • My favorite tent ever My favorite tent ever
Size: 2 Person Color: Green
My reason for replacing my old faithful 3-man dome was that I needed something that I could pop up quickly - possibly in limited space - and is waterproof. I've used this one on three separate trips now (more on them in a minute) and it fits my needs perfectly. I used it on the ground, not with the matching cot provided by the same manufacturer. If you've been shopping for instant tents on Amazon or elsewhere you'll see many that fit into two general categories: 1) spring-loaded ones you can literally toss and they open all by themselves, and 2) cabin-style tents that raise in the middle. The Teton tent is in a class all by itself. The two standard designs didn't appeal because there didn't seem to be any air space between the fly (if any) and/or the fly wasn't very big. I don't know about you, but there are few things I like less than waking up on a tent that's gotten condensation on the outside overnight that instantly leaks through as soon as you touch it by accident. Ugh. NASTY. I liked that this one has a fly that stands off the body of the tent (the external poles provide air space) but there's an inch or two gap at the bottom that lets fresh air in. Most of the negative reviews here are about the fact that the fly doesn't go all the way to the ground, which I don't quite understand - I don't care for a stuffy tent, myself. Trips #1 and #3 I used it for were near the ocean, and #2 was in the mountains. The first night I used it I woke up to drizzle, but inside the tent was bone-dry. I was thrilled. The night I spent in the mountains was colder than I like (in the 40s) but I was quite surprised at how cold air rushed in when I unzipped the tent body. Turns out that the mesh the main tent holds out cold air pretty efficiently, which I hadn't expected. I haven't yet used it on a warm enough night to want to do away with the fly, but I'm looking forward to that. It should be a nice middle ground between sleeping rough & being enclosed. Pros: mostly covered above, but I want to add that it looks very well-made. It goes up quite quickly - the tent body in about a minute, plus another 2-3 for the fly. The stuff sack is of good size and it's easy to slide the tent & fly into it, something that's been a problem with previous tents I've had. Cons: as shown in the photos it's of standard bathtub construction, but the bottom isn't reinforced at all. I wouldn't use it without a tarp, ground cloth, or cot underneath unless the ground is very even and soft. (The 2-person fits perfectly on a 5'x7' tarp with the pegs through the corners.) I wouldn't consider it a backpacking tent, but it's light for car camping. Of course that comes from using lightweight nylon, and I can't speak to its durability yet. It was just a little tricky to put up the first time and the lock at the top didn't fit in until the third time I put it up, but obviously it stayed up without it - otherwise I'd be writing a nasty review about it instead of a rave! Overall, it has exceeded my expectations, and I'm very, very happy with it, especially considering its very modest price. EDITED TO ADD: I've used it on 7 or 8 trips now. Still adore it, still looks brand new. Here's the memorable thing that makes me update this review. I had a chance to pitch it at the beach right above the high tide line. How could I possibly resist? Until... about 10 pm the wind picked up. It was blowing HARD. Decided - reluctantly - that I should move to a more sheltered spot. And just as soon as I got out, the darned thing STARTED TO BLOW AWAY. With all my gear still in it. I had to grab it by the top and drag it back into the trees. 🤣 No damage. Still looks brand-new. Have I mentioned that I love this tent? ... show more

  • Good Tent, BUT with a few CONS Good Tent, BUT with a few CONS
Size: 2 Person Color: Green
Purchased this tent less than a week ago and took it on a camping trip. It is overall good tent that comfortably fits 1-2 people. The things I had issues with was the thin flooring and flimsy locking pin. After getting home and cleaning my tent, I saw 3 small holes in my floor of the tent. I even put down a thick tarp underneath my tent to prevent not only moisture buildup between my tent and ground, but also to keep things from poking through. I’m not really sure how holes were formed, but wasn't with how thin the floor is. Would I buy this again if I knew these things? Yes, but only if the flooring of the tent is upgraded to a more durable material as well as a better locking pin. It is still a good tent and I would recommend it to others. Pros: - Very fast set up and take down - light weight (wouldn’t take on a long hike though) - Holds in heat better than my old tent - Keeps water out well (it rained on my camping trip and had no issues) Cons: - Material used for the flooring is VERY thin and wears/rips/tears very easily - The pin to lock the tent in position once set up is plastic and bends WAY to easily. ... show more
