Our Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport athletic work boots offer lightweight performance, but they're all business when it comes to protection. Beginning with mutilation-free, premium ripstop nylon uppers, we added abrasion- resistant screen-prints and TPU toe overlays for extra durability. Not only are they tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, they also feature alloy safety toes, electrical hazard protection, and Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day shock absorption and energy return. Their breathable, moisture-wicking mesh linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, their outsoles are made of heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking polyurethane for enhanced traction and comfort.

I am an Aircraft Heavy Structures mechanic, and I travel worldwide to experience varies weather conditions, extensive standing, kneeling, and walking between hangers and flightlines in an average 10-hour day. These boots feel absolutely amazing! These are probably my most favorite pair of work boots/shoes that I've ever owned (Even though I've only worn them for 2 days so far) but they feel great and I wish that I didn't wait so long to pull the trigger on this purchase. I will say that I took the recommendation of another customer who left a review, I don't remember his name but (the guy who bought 6 pairs) and I also purchased the 12 wide, even though I have never bought wife shoes or boots before and they fit perfectly! I also took his recommendation on those Dickies Kevlar Fiber socks and just the pairing of those 2 together were amazing! Then I took it a step further (no pun intended) and bought the Dr Scholl's Gel Insoles (trimmed em to fit) and that made the entire experience EVEN better! So to make a long story short, if you are on the fence.....just do it, buy these and you won't regret it! I don't think I can buy any other steel toe besides these ever again. Shoe quality is great, functionality is great, the value you get for the price is absolutely worth it and I also really do like the style. I will be wearing these even casually (I have 3 huskies and I wear them while I take em on their walks) oh and I'm on them about 9 to 10 hours a day mon-fri. I am a install technician and I install everything from mobility ramps outside to chairlifts inside of customers homes. (Everyone's yards are different) ... show more

I hate having to leave 4 stars for these boots. They're fantastic boot. BUT....I have a job that has me traveling a lot so I'm always in and out of airports. Additionally, I'm going to many different clients where some require you to wear safety toe shoes. So I bought these boots because they look great and they have a composite safety toe so I should be good to wear them through the TSA Pre-Check line. NOPE...yes the toe is composite but the support shank in the foot bed is STEEL. So again, great boots, they're very comfortable, my feet do not sweat in them and I think they look really good too. Es mi segundo par de este tipo de botas timberland el primero fue el que tiene la protección en el empeine y de verdad que son muy cómodas, ligeras y hechas para trabajar muchas horas de pie y caminar mucho sin cansarte tanto. Aparte de las protecciones que tiene que son muchas.
