  • Well crafted, fits well to size 10.5
Size: 10.5 Color: Brown
These Timberland boots are indeed high-quality work footwear. After a two-day break-in period, they feel comfortable and well-constructed without being too heavy.

  • Great Boots but Remember They Run Small
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
I have worn a size 10EE for twenty years so that is what I originally ordered. The boots shipped and were delivered very quickly. Imagine my surprise when they were too small. I compared them to several other size 10 boots I have and found the Timberlands 1/2 an inch shorter. I liked the way they were built and the quality of materials so I opted to exchange them for 10 1/2 EE. Those boots fit well, are warm and seem to be waterproof so far. I've worn them to work in Western New York during winter for a few days now and my feet and back feel better. My feet are warm and dry and I didn't have to break the bank to buy them. I recommend these boots just save the return and get a half size bigger than you normally get. Well after a year and a half of use there are 2 things I would like to add. 1- I miss speed laces. My next pair of boots will definitely have them. 2- The sole on one boot is finally separating. ... show more

  • Nice boots overall, with a few reservations.
Size: 9 Color: Brown
To start with- these are going to be my go-to winter boots for the next few years. I won't be using them in a real work environment, though if I need booth these will be what I use. The price at first was a bit hard to swallow. I'm generally one to purchase cheap, and use them 'till they die. I figured since I'll be seasonally in a colder and snowier climate, I needed *real* winter boots, ones that were comfortable, insulated and long-lasting (unlike what I had for boots before). Out of the box these were comfortable in almost every way for me. While I'm not used to the steel toe, they're nicely insulated, sealed around the base of the boot and the leather looked nice. They have some heft to them (weight), but that's not a big deal and was expected. One problem to boot (heh, bad puns) was the leather surface. While I really do like the look of the dark boot, buying the dark brown color versus the tan color was a BAD idea. Nicks and marks on the leather surface show far easier than they would on the tan colored boot. Also, when the boot gets dirty or worn one way, the color changes a bit until the leather is cleaned or "groomed" the proper way. Kind of strange, to be honest. Since the leather is also unsealed, you can't really condition it or treat it as if it was sealed leather. These may sound like silly complaints, but for someone who wants a pair of boots that last a LONG time, the wear that has shown on the leather surface of the boots is a little concern worthy. Other than appearance though, so far they have stood the test of winter (all 5 weeks I put them through, so not an actual full winter season). I've rinsed them off three times, used them in almost foot-high snow, and scratched them (accidentally) climbing over rocks to take photos for some school-related projects. I'll update my review in the future if anything changes as far as functionality or wear goes. As of right now, I do like these boots, but don't really have much to compare them to. I know everyone says either LL Bean or Timberlands are the boots to buy...but while they are nice, the leather seems a bit sensitive to damage to last a long time. We'll see. As of now, I'd recommend these, but if you expect your boots to get damaged (scratched, or roughed up whether from work or accidentally) don't expect them to wear nicely. Also, not sure if this is a cause for concern, but the sealing that was at the bottom of the boot when I bought them appears to have separated a bit. Not sure why. Feel free to comment if you have any questions. ... show more

  • Great pair of boots offering good insulation and cushioning
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Brown
Though these are pro boots and I have a desk job, I still got them for their build quality and insulation. These are true to size, so it is good to actually measure your feet before getting them. Unlike various other pairs of boots that I have owned, these need more time to break-in (only 50+ hours in my case because I ordered pair tht is a half size bigger). I now wear them for almost 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I have mild plantar fasciitis (pain in the heel) on the left foot and the boot offers excellent cushioning during long walks. ... show more

  • Heavy duty, sturdy, looks like they will be with me for a while
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
These are very solid and sturdy. The soles are very thick and my initial impression is that they would be a little awkward (almost like wearing snow shoes or ski boots). But that impression was wrong. They are actually very comfortable and aside from a little extra weight (they are a little heavy), they are not awkward at all. Like most heavy grade and steel toed shoes/boots, they run a little small. But these only run just a little small. I bought my normal size and they fit well, maybe a little small but still comfortable. If you are in a cold climate and will wear heavy socks a lot, then definitely go a half size larger than your normal size. They are pretty warm, so in hot climates there is going to be some perspiration in these. I will try to remember to follow this review up in 6 to 8 months with some durability info. ... show more

  • Timberland pro
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
I did not like the way they arrived, multiple scratches and looked liked they were worn, only half of refund policy but you can keep the boot, discovered boot was defective and caused me so much pain, had to wear a cushion of some sort on top of my foot to even wear them! Waste of almost$200.00 buy at your own risk ... show more

  • Durable, comfortable work boots
Size: 8.5 Color: Brown
Great all-around safety boots. I wear them primarily for foot protection when I'm running a chainsaw around the farm. These are probably the first pair of work boots I've purchased that didn't require any kind of real break-in period. They were ready to go and comfortable from the moment I took the out of the box. The leather looks great and is very durable. The soles provide excellent traction on most surfaces. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of affordable steel-toe work boots. They're heavier than aluminum or composite toe boots, but the protection afforded by steel toes is vastly superior to both of those options for my use. Fit was true to size for me. ... show more
