  • Comfortable.
Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn (I get the wide). The slight clown look of the toe will not even bother you if you once you appreciate the comfort. I suggest trying shoes on at a local store for best sizing, and then ordering sequential pairs offline afterwards (What I did). I worn a pair for 6 months as an industrial maintenance technician. The sole insert is very very comfortable, but... mine is starting to wear a hole in the heel of it. Will still be good for a while, but kind of disappointed there. Also, where the top of my heel grabs the boot when I walk... it is also starting to wear through the first layer of the boot. This is also disappointing especially if their anti-fatigue claim includes this area. Granted... in all boots these areas I've mentioned seem to one of the first areas to go out the window, but I expected better. The rubber toe helps prevent cuts in the leather and believe it or not, when you kick stuff it absorbs vibration. I used to like slip on shoes, but now I get lace up because they grab your ankle and help keep the shoe in position (plus insulation warmth). They are not super bad in the heat and work well in the cold. If you have ever experienced an ingrown toenail.. for example, then you will appreciate comfort over all else, so hands down my favorite work boot so far. ... show more

  • I wear them to bed.
I have been working in construction for 22 years and I have worn a lot of boots, from the cheapest to very expensive. These are by far the best most comfortable boots I have ever had that are actually tough enough for work. Now I have had boots that may have been as comfortable or maybe slightly more, but they just don't last at all. These are freaking tough and feel great. I can wear them all day at work and I am in no hurry to take them off when I get home like so many others. When I am starting a new project I spend a lot of time kneeling on concrete laying out walls and other things, which destroys the toe of even the toughest boots, but the toe protection that is on this boot is pretty much bulletproof. The thread on it that looks like a truck tire, has been worn a little smooth in spots on mine from more than a year of use now, but it is still in great shape. I love the and when the time does come for a new pair of boots, I will DEFINITELY be buying another pair of these. ... show more

  • Perfect work boot.
I work in the food industry so was after a slip resistant and waterproof boot. Ideally would have wanted something chemical resistant as well, unfortunately these aren't listed as such. Although, it claims to be oil resistant. These are a joy to put on. The anti-fatigue sole really works. Feels like you are walking on pillows. Being summer in Australia at the moment, my feet do get a little warm if I am walking to and from site and on the street. But once at work. The insulation never feels too warm. Solid construction and feels like they will last awhile. Haven't spilt anything on them yet. So can't comment on how waterproof they are. ... show more

  • Just buy them already!
I work on industrial airline equipment. I’ve had a pair of these boots for almost 2 years now. I owned a pair of carhartt boots prior to these and they only lasted me 6 months or so. I’ve stepped on burnt metals with these boots after using a torch, I’ve had these boots covered in aircraft de-icing fluid, diesel, gas, oil, brake cleaner, and many other damaging chemicals. The boots are very warm in below zero temperatures. They are also the best waterproof boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve put these boots through hell and they have no major signs of wear other then the burn marks on the bottom side of the soles. These boots have good traction in snow and rain. The heel protection & composite toe on the boots are a life saver. The only honest down falls of these boots are the laces are trash, the sole inserts are trash so you’ll have buy better ones or replace them around 6 months depending how much you use the boots and how much you are on your feet. ... show more

  • Put the water proof to the test.
First pair was returned due to NOT being water proof, they were splitting at the point where the leather meets the soles, feet were soaked. Second pair seems to be water proof I've been intentionally walking in water to test them. Very comfortable and warm!

  • Great boots. THEY ADDRESSED ALL THE PROBLEMS I EVER HAD WITH WORK BOOTS!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
IMO They are the most comfortable and durable boots available They are the most comfortable and durable boots I’ve ever owned infact They literally are the most comfortable footwear i own I would wear them out for a night on the town if my wife would let me The laces stay tight and last with no problems There is no problem with the toes-wearing through from kneeling a lot They are flexible enough so that they don’t pinch your toes when you’re kneeling or squatting which happened all the time with my other boots ,until they were broken in and by that time they’d already worn through the material exposing the steel toe and making me nervous about scratching tile and wood floors All the components of the boot stay together without any leaks with all my old work boots they would always separate between the leather and rubber or any other dissimilar materials The only time I need to replace them is when the bottom of the boots or the tread which have great traction (especially on roofs )eventually wear down (for me it’s normally in the back so I guess that’s got to do with how I walk and not the construction of the boot) The insoles are the only thing that tend to wear out and I always have to replace them . They have sort of a honeycomb design and there is not much holding them together but I think that is one of the reasons they are so comfortable. I don’t think I have ever had gravel wedged in between the treads , which happened with my old boots all the time , particularly problematic when you’re going in and out of a house all day TIP!!! If you tape the underside of the insoles with a high-quality thin tape such as flashing tape for windows (the thinner the better) I have found they last a lot longer and you only sacrifice a little comfort ... show more

  • Soles & heels wear out too fast.
Electrician Work boots. $$ Paid $189.00 for boots and thought Timberland was a good boot. But to my surprise the boots only lasted 6 months. The boots are very heavy boots.
