These boots are a game-changer. I have worked a 7-hour restaurant shift 4-5 times a week, mostly back-of-house cooking and cleaning, for almost 3 years. The laces are quality, the material is quality. I was using a pair of water-resistant Fila boots for the longest time at my job. They lasted a good 2-4 months before wear and tear began to show. The outer soles began ripping off from the base. I developed a foot fungus because water kept seeping through. I needed a waterproof shoe BADLY. These shoes are worth the money. I bought these Timberland PRO boots for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them! They’re very comfortable, even after long hours on his feet. The most comfortable boots I've ever owned. No breakin was needed. Lether is beautiful and the tread is great on ice and in the snow. Water seems to be repelled so far. Nice and warm also. Fit was exactly to size. Love them.

The size 10.0 W fits perfectly—true to size with just the right amount of room for thicker work socks. Comfort & Support: These boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The padded collar and cushioned insole provide great support during long shifts on concrete and uneven terrain. I’ve noticed significantly less foot fatigue at the end of the day. Ok. For any of my "older' bretheren still able and capable of working in the yard. I am 69 and have traditionally worked in sneakers ina n around the house, be it on a ladder, mowing, mulching or whatever. Yes, I am able to afford hiring folks but I like to do things too. I bought these boots to see if greater stability and comfort might be mine working around he house. Yes!. I hauled 155 bags of 1.5 cubic yard mulck in 90 minutes, felt very stable underfoot, and no foot fatigue. Never, in years past, has that been the result in sneakers. Love the boots and stability.
