I was not expecting cardboard when I opened up the package. My fault, I didn’t read carefully enough. At first I was irritated that I spent about $30 on cardboard but as I put it together I was pleased with it. It’s easy to put together. It even seems durable. I’m using it to sort out mail. I can't give this a 5 star because I thought it would hold 12x18 inch construction paper. I misunderstood the advertisement when I was offered to choose the 10 slot or 15 slot so I chose the 15 slot thinking it would give me more spaces for the paper. However, it can only hold 8.5x 11 and that's not for the size of paper I need. The unit is sturdy, but I am not pleased with Amazon offering both options for the 12x18 inch paper organizer. Also, I tried to return it and purchase the correct one but again I am not pleased with Amazon because it will not allow me to purchase something similar to the item I am returning. I bought this to be used as a “mailbox” for my staff at work. It was pretty easy to assemble and didn’t take me long. I was worried it wouldn’t be sturdy because it is cardboard but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s working out great so far.

It's not super sturdy, and was a pain to assemble, but I am happy with the price. I did have to hot glue some sections and flaps so they would stay in place.
