This looks to be sturdy and good quality leather. But I found the sizing guidelines to be wrong. I wear 33 Levi's - and comfortably - no gut. I wear 34 dress pants. Bought 36 belt per the guidelines. I have to use the first hole and there are 6 inches. of strap hanging past the loop. Tail of the strap is 2 inches too long in the first place - I guess so the mfgr could emboss their name - totally unnecessary. ... show more

I am very picky when it comes to how things look and fit. I wear it with my daily uniform and love it. The stitches add a subtle but great contrast.You do have to bump sizes up just like the other comments state. I went two sizes above and it was perfect. I'm considering buying a second one already just to keep for future use although it looks as if this belt will last for a while! ... show more

This is a review of the timberland pro belt for men. First of all let me say this. If you buy this product you will not upon receiving it run out into the streets doing somersaults. Keep in mind, it's a belt. And being a belt it can only do things that belts do. That is, hold up my pants. So far it's doing that job pretty good. I haven't been walking in the street or in a building and my pants suddenly, for no reason at all, rush to my ankles. I haven't had that problem. The belt feels good (as long as you put it around your waist, not your neck) and I think it's going to last a while. At least until next week. I highly recommend this product. The description states this belt is 100% genuine leather, but the tag on the belt says it’s one solid piece of top grain leather (much better quality/durability) and it really is, a very nice surprise. The leather also comes with a corrected grain finish to make it look like full grain, which I could take or leave. If I wanted a full grain leather belt, I’d get that instead of a top grain with a corrected grain finish. All in all, happy to have this solid top grain leather belt, should last a good while. ... show more

This REAL leather belt for $27 & change was a great deal!! (I got it with the extra rubber padding in front).. I work security overnights & it holds all my gear perfectly & is a very good belt for concealed or open carry.. I was hoping to find an excellent belt for a reasonable price & so far I couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!
