Uppers made with premium 100% waterproof leather from an LWG Silver-rated tannery. TimberDry™ eco-conscious waterproof membrane. Fully gusseted tongue. Removable anti-fatigue footbed. Compression-molded EVA midsole. 15% recycled rubber outsole. Imported. Shaft measures approximately 5" from arch. Heel measures approximately 1.5". Platform measures approximately 1". Covered by the Timberland Limited Warranty. Because Timberland is unable to control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the limited warranty is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. The warranty claim must be made within 12 months of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. After trying many way too soft modern styles, I was looking for the sturdiness and support of a high quality leather boot. Hopefully these will finally fit the bill. Contrary to some reviews and AI info, they do need a break-in period. I am still breaking them in so I am not 100% ready to endorse them yet, but they are coming along well. They are relatively lightweight but are not as light as synthetic fabric boots or trail runners. They're not unusually hot at all, again contrary to some other reviews. The grip and support are excellent. There is no problem with the speed lacing eyelets catching like they sometimes do on others - the eyelet appears to be a new design to fix that problem. Like with all boots I bought a half size larger and added a Spenco insole to replace the existing one, but after doing this many times I can say the US11.5 seems true to size. Will update this when I get them on the trail and in the weather - I can't vouch for the waterproofing yet but I expect it to be fine. If the boot holds up well, which I have come to expect from Timberland, this is an excellent price. ... show more

I'm a big fan of these Timberlands, so much so that I have 4 pair in various colors. I find them super comfortable for a boot, I can wear them all day and my foot feels great. Style wise they look good with whatever I'm wearing, and have held up well.

Comfy but sweaty due to waterproofing, need simple inserts to protect against sweat buildup. Look great and durable. Waffle sole is thick, was slippery for a day then was grippy. Laces are too long for no reason even when laced all the way up, requiring extra knots, tucking or wrapping. But they’re suede, waterproof, look good and fit well. ... show more

I am on my feet all day. My job is very physical. And I visit a chiropractor once a month; been doing that for 4 years. These boots, after a few days of wearing them, are a godsend. My feet, ankles, knees, hips, and back, feel much better now. Still tired at the end of the day, only not sore in the fore-mentioned places. It makes sense to wear hiking boots if you are on your feet all day. Hiking boots are made to walk in, most steel toe boots I have worn are not. I opine that if you have back problems or knees that hurt, these boots may be for you. These are the first Timberlands I have owned or worn. You can believe I will be buying more. The insole and sole are the best I have experienced. Very comfortable. Plus, they look good. Overall an excellent pair of boots. UPDATE: 22 June 2024 It is only fair, after giving an excellent review of these boots, that I give you an update. These Timberlands are still going strong. I wear them and work in them every day for the past year. Rain, sleet, snow, mud, intense heat, dust, etc. My boots have walked thru it all. Not even a broken stitch. The sole is still good as new, not even a hairline crack for water to seep in. These boots keep my feet dry and warm in winter, dry and cool in summer. My back, feet, and ankles, still feel great. Great boots so far (6 months in). I'm a park ranger, so they have a slightly hard life. Great look, good ankle support. They fit perfectly. They've been waterproof so far, but I've only been in water a couple inches deep. I did get some insoles, but I do that with all my shoes due to a club foot and a lot of standing/walking. They're holding up and have over performed my expectations (I'm always looking for affordable quality shoes). My shoes usually last about two years and at this point I'll happily buy another pair of these when the time comes. ... show more
