This hand blender is an upgraded version compared to others that I have tried. The container is actually glass as opposed to plastic which is nice but it does cause it to be heavy which isn't nice -back to that later. The blade is super sharp and works beautifully, provided you cut any solid pieces up small however that should be common sense it's a tiny blender! I love the forest green color as this would make a great gift for my hubby when he makes his fruit and veggie protein shakes. For me the glass makes it too heavy to really be travel friendly. I am very clumsy and could easily see myself dropping this in transition from car to home, work, ect. However, it still works great at home it does have all the mess and clean up of the bigger blenders. ... show more
