I only used the name brand comparable to this pad (mentioned on the packaging). Like, for nearly 15 years. These are better, no question. They're less expensive. They absorb wonderfully. They are absolutely bulky, but I need that to feel secure and covered. I don't like ultra thin pads - they always move around and leak. The biggest thing about these pads is the softness. The top layer is so much softer than the name brand and that really improves the comfort. I didn't get them delivered last month and I missed them while going back to my uncomfortable, rough-topped name brand. I ordered 2 packs this time so I'm good for a while. Love them. ... show more

You definitely won’t be leaking through these. I misread and didn’t realize these were not thin pads so I was surprised by the thickness. They are a tad bulky compared to what I’m used to, but they work great for overnight use. They’re long too so you’ll be extra protected.
