The texture of the cream is nice & I like the way it works. However, the scent is too strong for my taste. It does fade in a short time, but I don't like the scent. I have naturally curly hair but the next morning always need to scrunch it again so it's not lifeless. This product is a great value for the money and does not make my hair sticky or hard (only use a 1/2-3/4" dab..if you use more I would assume it would be sticky & crunchy), and my curls last all day. I have 2b/2c hair, this cream/gel has a nice hold and leaves a gel cast that is strong enough to hold your curls but you can easily scrunch out the crunch. Right now is my #1 product
