I have owned the safe for about a week now, I am happy with my purchase so far but will update the review if any issues arise later on. Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was worried but so far I am satisfied by the safe. The safe arrived in a sturdy box with foam cushioning protecting the front panel. The box had some holes in it, but the safe itself appears to be undamaged. My one big negative so far is the use of cheap plastic, especially on the silver trim of the shelves, which both came cracked (see picture). Fortunately, the trim pieces were easy to remove, and I feel the shelves looks better without them (see photo without the trim pieces) . I contacted Tigerking support and they were quick to offer me a partial refund due to the broken shelves. The other place where there is cheap plastic is on the round gold dial used to open the safe itself, I wish this part was made out of metal, as it would give it a much better feel when opening/closing the safe. Other than the cheap plastics, I love everything else about the safe. There is plenty of room inside, and there is even a false floor which can be lifted to show an additional hidden storage compartment. The shelves can be taken out if more room is needed. The safe also has mounting holes on the back for attaching it to the wall. As far as operating the safe, I found this super easy. The instructions are very clear on how to set up the codes and operate the safe. There are 2 key holes, the left one is for the regular key and the right is for the master key. The master key allows you to bypass having to use the keypad, it basically does what the keypad does. The main key (big silver and blue one) allows a secondary lock on the safe, this key must be unlocked before you can use the keypad or master key to open the safe. Thankfully, this key does not need to be inserted and can remain unlocked, so if you want to use just the keypad/master key to unlock, you have that option. There is also an alarm which goes off if 3 incorrect codes are entered (this is automatically enabled), or the safe is moved (this needs to be manually activated every time you lock the safe, but hitting the * button) Overall a very cool safe for the price.

This is a good safe for the price. Good workmanship and quite roomy. Advantages: Two ways to lock and unlock - key pad only or key pad + physical secondary key. An emergency key in conjunction with the secondary key to unlock the safe in case the key pad malfunction or out of battery. I tried out all three ways to unlock multiple times. They work faultlessly. The default key code can be reprogrammed to become Master code. An additional key code can be programmed. Two sets of physical keys. Very roomy with a lockable small storage, a shelf and a hidden bottom storage. Big enough to store stacks of documents, passports, some cash, a lab top, iPad, and couple of pistols. A small l. E.D. light after the door is open. The door locking bolts are massive. 3 invalid key entries activate an alarm. I tried it out. It worked well. I drilled two holes on the bottom of the safe, and bolted it to the floor. Disadvantages: It is not fire proof nor water proof. The metal walls are not armor enough to resist drilling. Overall, my wife and I love this safe. Hope it will provide us years of usage.

I built a set of library shelves for a client. He wanted a hidden safe designed into it. I bought this one primarily because it was the perfect size for the space I had to work with. I set up the safe for my client. The quality seemed good. It took a little effort to figure out how the thing worked, but I got it and was able to show my client. It's been about a year and half since I completed that installation. Recently I was back at the client's residence discussing a new job. I asked how the safe was working out for him. He said, "It's fine." I wish I could show you a picture of the installation, but I'm sworn to secrecy!

I would have given it a "5 Star" ***** , but it took almost 4 weeks to get the safe. It is heavy duty, with four bolts, and easy to program. There is an emergency battery pack in case the batteries go bad. There are also two emergency keys that can open the safe in case all else fails. One of the keys can be used for dual control and the other for emergency. Like I said earlier, if it did not take so long to get I would have given 5 Stars.

Shipped in well protected box. Designs are top notch for prices and looks. Codes are easy to setup and change, plus the keys are really nice. The light is my least favorite aspect, but not really big of a deal. Also NOT waterproof or fireproof, but I gave that up for the looks and luxury. You can buy fireproof and waterproof accessories for cheap. I would buy this 3x over.

I think people aren't understanding instructions once you figure it out everything works great I am very happy with it. One thing that instruction don't make perfectly clear is that when setting your code and any time you open the safe you must have master key inserted and turned to the right Just the master key not the round emergency key. Also as far as the batteries concerns in the reviews you must install batteries in the provided battery pack and plug it into the bottom of the key pad for the first opening. (Must have master key in and turned) once opened take battery's out of that pack and insert into the back of key pad on the inside of safe. Use the code reset instruction always keeping master key in and everything should work.

I just received my safe a few hours ago and its definitely a solid safe. I love the interior of the safe it was one of the reasons i chose this one but when i first opened it there is a small tear in the cloth. It was from the shelves not being secure on the inside
