As someone with Type 4C hair, finding tools that give you that gorgeous, defined curl pattern without exposing your hair to the intense heat of a curling iron is genuinely a finacial hassle. I’m usually a strict roller user, so this was actually my very first time ever using flexi-rods. I was a little skeptical, but after using this 42-pack for a full rod set after my wash day, I'm officially converted! The rods themselves are incredibly easy to use, even for a beginner. They have the perfect amount of cushion and flexibility, and they stayed secure without snapping or pulling at my ends when wrapped with a silk scarf or kept with a bonnet overnight. To be completely real and transparent for my natural/coily/curly hair community: the rods are amazing, but for every hair case you definitely have to put in the prep work for the best results! I prepped my hair with the right leave-in products for my hair's porosity type and gave myself a thorough blowout using my Revlon one step hair dryer before wrapping. I used about 29 rods in total, starting with thicker rods in the back and thinner rods towards the front. Taking that extra time to prep paired perfectly with these flexi-rods, giving me incredibly shiny, bouncy, and beautiful curls that lasted. It's also wonderful to know this is from a small family business trying to put out quality products. If you’ve been on the fence about trying a heatless rod set on coily hair, or if you're a roller loyalist like I was, honestly, give these a try. They are highly sustainable, beginner-friendly, and deliver gorgeous results. Highly recommend!

They are easy to use. They come in different sizes which I liked. There is enough of them for your entire head of hair long or short. They came quickly and the curls last for days. They come in a clear case for easy storage. I recommend buying them particularly if you don't like to put heat on your hair.

I ordered this item for my mother. She has short hair in the front and long in the back so these rollers with different sizes work perfectly. She also said that she was able to sleep in them comfortably which was a concern for me.
