My 2020 F-150 has the standard 4 places to connect tie downs. Additionally, I added 2 more near the back of the rails, but still, there are times when I could use additional places to tie down. I dont know why I never noticed the little spots already setup for this, and all I had to do is order these tie downs, but WOW what a difference.. Especially since some larger straps are hard to maneuver into the stock ones, not to mention they're blocked by my add-on cargo gate.. In any case, these anchors are absolutely perfect. Heavy duty, strong, large hooks that pivot up and down, and they fit perfectly into the places already cut out on the truck. I have an aftermarket spray on bed liner, but it was no problem - The included screws went right in. To make it even better, they even included the proper bit for installation. Honestly, it took me about 5 minutes beginning to end to get these in, and they look great! Dont hesitate to get these..

I really like the red colored on these tie down anchors. That was one of the reasons why I got them. However, I'm using them on my 20-ft car hauler but that way I can haul other materials as well on strap down as my hauler doesn't have many hooking spots so this was a nice addition for that. I did find that the red mounting portion to the black plate was slightly loose so I unscrewed all the bolts and added loctite. That would be the reason for the four stars The screws really should be tight so that the customer feels like the two pieces won't separate . They look amazing. They're super strong. I like the metal on them. The mounting plate to the trailer is 1/8 in thick steel, which made me really happy so I know it's going to be durable

Recieved as described, color matches my current scheme on my truck. There seems to be a spring that keeps them under tension which prevents them from rattling. They seem to be more sturdy then the cleat version. Will test them more under load.

These are chunky looking . I like them alot. These fit the oem recesses in F150 bed walls - but are not overly specialized. The anchors are aluminum the hardware sent with them - steel - which i expected as these are meant to go into the steel inserts in Ford bed. We installed a similar steel set in the truck a while back and I realized holding them- These can be used in lots of applications! They can be mounted on any FLAT surface by either bolting through (thicker stronger materials) or by using riv-nut inserts on thinner materials ( rating will be effected by what and how they are attached ). This part profile in general fit the side frames on several of our trailers. Look great on overland racks. They look Good pretty much where ever you can put them as is. And that alot of places actually!! They can even be handle pulls on shop cabinets and drawers or used as a door knock. I do suspect if put to work with hooked straps the color coating would take a hit particularly on the edges due to their squared chunky shape. They may get dinged in any use - this is why chose black - it's easier to touch up with industrial sharpie marker-😊 I'm not a fan of painting thick aluminum like this over some nicks and scrapes. It has been difficult to pick pulls for gloved hands that can be easily used on our shop for cabinets and drawers 🙄- nothing seems functional ..these though.. These are BIG and CHUNKY easy to grab- even in leather welding gloves. MOUNTED THESE ON four tester doors /drawers and already love them!! How they hold there position anywhere from full up to full down !! So easy to grab and they do not fall down!! These are light weight ideal for use in shop and they are look awesome. PS - im glad we have steel ones on the truck - cause we USE THEM ALOT - WHILE I THINK THESE CAN HANDLE - what they are rated for cause aluminum is really tough- concider of your heavy user of these or light user ..for constant heavy use I would recommend steel with steel hooked straps heavy metal scrapping them ect . .. these may be heavy duty but it terms of getting marred and losing there appealing looks they are more medium duty lookers ..I will order more - I already love them in my shop - this is exactly what we needed+ they are stiif enough to hold tools too !?! Awesome bonus!

I have no way to test the load rating, but the overall quality and finish are very nice. I didn’t buy these for an F-150—my plan was to use them on a utility trailer. They’re robust, yet have a low profile when folded down. I also swapped out the included hardware for more appropriate bolts for my setup. I live in the Northeast where everything eventually rusts, so the fact that these are made from aluminum should help ensure they outlast my trailer frame. I also like that when you lift them up they stay in place, which helps prevent your strap hook from slipping off.
