I am using this box to house an Internet Mesh node extender in an outside location. The box is well made and sturdy and waterproof. It has a rubber seal around the inside of the lid and locks shut with stainless latches. It is well designed to allow you to hang devices on the interior perforated back plate without drilling through the outside of the box. The box is secured in place by stainless adjustable tabs that do not penetrate the inside of the box. It is really waterproof. Wires and cables can be inserted through drill holes in the bottom of the box which are then waterproofed by rubber grommets. Good product for outside applications.

This is a review I’m happy to write! Our fiber jack was placed in my woodshop, haphazardly, and was always getting dusty and sometimes bumped unintentionally. I was looking for something to condense and contain the incoming and outgoing connections and protect them. This was a perfect solution after making a substructure to mount it to, rerouting some cabling through the studs. And layering some insulation back into the stud cavity. The case was easily modifiable to drill the grommet holes and I was also able to add some small vent holes on the bottom lip of the cleat door for heat management. Super high quality box that closes tight and looks great. Very pleased!

Nice box to hold my WiFi box for my cameras. It is nice a water proof and dimensions were accurate. My only complaint is that there are no knock outs on the box for running your wire like most electrical boxes have so I had to drill them. Not a huge problem, but I just assumed they would have them like most boxes do.
