I love the Gothic black. The 24 size will last forever!!!!!! The soft leads (HB) are most perfect and being left-handed, it is much easier for me to write with and have it look good and nice. Yes, Ticonderoga pencils cost a little more than most other brands, HOWEVER, they don’t break and split like most other brands! So you’re really getting more pencil for the price, because you’re not losing length by having to sharpen and resharpen when the lead breaks or the wood splits.
