Charcoal pencils are great in general for those with a creative flair or actual artists. These are durable markers and shaders that hold a point well and are easily sharpened.

They're okay for the price. I don't care too much for them as charcoal drawing pencils. Very similar to normal #2 pencils in my opinion. They got the job done when I was broke and couldn't afford the brand I usually buy. Maybe best used for younger people or people just getting into charcoal drawings. If you're more experienced and have had better kits to work with, you might not enjoy these pencils as much. ... show more

Opened the box the package was ripped. The eraser was missing. Other than that I was very happy with the pencils. I’m an artist and HB Charcoal pencils are unusual to find.
