I bought a bunch of these for gifts for my kids who love mechanical pencils, and to keep a bit for backups for school and assignments. They have loved them and use them every day. I wondered if the led would be too thick, but it's actually perfect. It's a little thicker than mechanical pencils I used as a kid, but it seems sturdier, and less breakable. Though it's thicker, they can still write very nicely with fine lines like a normal sharpened pencil, which makes it easier for my kids to write with decent handwriting without constant sharpening. ... show more
