The first product came with broken parts/screws. I erred on side of probable shipping damage and requested a replacement instead of a refund. The replacement had no broken parts, however the electric function does not work. Super disappointed.

I have to say that I have been looking at these for a long time now, so when I saw this 4 to 1 spiral binding machine I didn’t even hesitate. I homeschool, and I like organization, I also like to have my planner MY way, which can get expensive. I have tried using the disc planners and this year I even bought a custom made planner and it was EXPENSIVE! Which is what led me to look into these machines. This spiral coil binding machine is perfect for spiral binding at home. I can easily create anything I want and bind it together with this machine. It does a great job and creates very professional looking projects. I have watched so many YouTube videos and looked at so many of these that I found this to be very easy to use, but it isn’t my first time using one and like I said I have researched the one I wanted a lot. I prefer the 4 to 1 pitch, as that is what most of your spiral bound notebooks use. That means that you can reuse those covers for other projects if you can salvage them, which is much easier to do with the electric coil inserter of this machine. You just snip off the ends and use the machine to uncoil them. This lets you adjust the depth of the hole punch (side margin), so you can punch the holes where you want them. For kids projects I suggest using the 6.5 mm. The tray is easy to dump out and this hole punches 20 pages with ease, if you use thicker paper you’ll have to do fewer sheets at a time. The machine itself is heavy, but all of these spiral binder machines are. Overall, I would have to say that this coil binding machine gets a solid 5 stars from me. This final binding machine is easy. Yes, it was not hard at all, and it works great in my classroom to create resources and materials. I am able to create books almost instantly, and give those books learning and back so that the children can enjoy their time at the time again, and again, I have learned how to make have books, so this helps out with the cost overall, I feel like this option is definitely more affordable than if I were going to OfficeMax or staples to allow them to do some of my binding for me ... show more

This machine is great for putting together educational resources and supplies. The machine came well packaged and included instructions, as well as QR codes with access to instructional videos. It does take a bit of practice to get used to using it. The handle comes down easily to punch holes into the paper before then using the rotating piece on top spiral the binding in. this is very easy to use, you just puncture the paper with your tines and then afterwards you can bind it with the automated coiler. The cooler quickly wraps the coil in the perforations making it a very smooth efficient process. Do note, this is extremely heavy and does take up some counter space.
