I'm new to working out, currently 5'9" 280ishj pounds with a desire to get more fit and build my stamina and endurance. I can't give you any kind of professional review on this. Hover what I can tell you from a newbie to working out standpoint is that it seems fantastic. The Nylon is extremely heavy duty. The handles are extremely durable and well put together as well as two nice foam handle bars to grip on to and an extra strap around the bottom of the handle bar to put your feet into with more than enough spacious room for extra large feet. It does have a nice long I'd say 36" extension strap so you can lower it down near to the ground for use like for ankle straps but you can remove the extension strap to use strictly for standing up mostly exercises. My apartment bedroom door is basically hollow with just wood paneling I'd say on the front and back, but due to the way this mounts using a wide nylon strap with a small wheel of foam on it, I don't seem to have to worry about damaging the door either. That's a BIG relief for me. lol. The straps are maybe 2 inches wide and the extension strap has reinforcement stitching for placement of the the Carbiner at a length that you would need it to be and these are I'd say about 2 inches apart along the entire length of the strap. There are only 2 carbiners in total and that's all you really need. This is an extremely simplistic setup but why go extravagant when you don't need to? Especially for something like this. As the other reviewer (who seems a lot more of a professional workout guru than I am has said...The adjustment for length on both handle sides is extremely simple yet effective and super sturdy. It did take me a second to realize just how simple it was to do, though. LOL You push down on the metal piece to release the "teeth" and hen you just pull the yellow handle at the top and let go of the "teeth" part when you want it to lock in place. It holds perfectly stable no matter if I put my whole 280lbs on one handle so yea, it's locked in place. Honestly, I've had a few other variants of a kit like this and they were cheap, 1 inch straps, no stitching reinforcement, bla bla bla. But I'm extremely glad I got this and I'll be starting to use it daily as of today. I don't see ANY cons with this whatsoever but if anything changes, I'll be sure to update!

Hung it from a steel exterior door. Put full body weight (arms down, raise feet off the floor): one side slipped. Readjusted the straps, did it again: same slide slipped. Not fit for use.

I recently got the Resistant Trainer Pro Extreme Straps, and they look fantastic. They're well made with high-quality materials and came with a wall accessory for easy attachment. Although I haven't been able to use them yet because my husband hasn't had time to install them, they seem just like the more expensive versions. They really look like a premium product, and I'm excited to start using them!

Pros: I had been wanting something like this for a while and for the most part I really like it. First of all, it's incredibly easy to set up by just putting the strap on the door and closing it. The arm bands then hook on at various heights and the length can be adjusted quickly. I really like how easy it is to use and it's pretty dynamic which let's you do a lot of good exercises. Cons: The only thing I don't like is that the bottom of the strap hangs freely rather than being strapped tight to the door. This means that it pulls away from the door, especially when I put the straps on lower points, and doesn't stay at the height I want it. All it does is require I stand back further from the door. I really wish the strap went around the entire door. That would make it harder to set up but then the strap would stay at the height I want. Overall, this is a very quality product that is extremely easy to use but having the strap hang freely negates your ability to use lower strap positions.

These are a good quality strap. They are easy to adjust the length and easy to attach and remove from any equipment. They are worth the money if you’re looking for straps to help with pull ups or lat exercises.

I was thrilled to finally get my hands on one. I've attached it to my wall-mounted pull-up bar, and now it's become a part of my daily workouts.
