This is a pretty solid mini excavator bucket. I found the dimensions to be not accurate, getting 16 inches from the back of the bucket to the tip of the teeth. Also the 11.4 inches I got for width included the side cutters that are bolted on. I like that it has 3 teeth and they are bolted on as well. I like the nylon nuts that make sure the attached pieces stay on. They are rugged and should last a while while avoiding corrosion. If your excavator matches up with the pin size it could be a good match and a way to get digging done a little quicker.

I ordered this narrow bucket for use on a 1.8 ton mini-excavator (NKL NW-18). My excavator came with an 18” wide bucket, which works well for most tasks, however, having a narrow bucket is ideal for digging trenches and small foundations, as well as other tasks where an 18” bucket is too wide. This bucket fit my excavator without issue. The bucket came with the two required mounting pins, which was appreciated, as my OEM bucket uses captured pins, which will not work with this bucket. The pins on this bucket have a hex head which gets seated into a cavity on the right side of the bucket. The pins are 0.98” (25mm) in diameter, which fit my excavator fine. The space between the bucket mounting plates is 3.62 inches (92mm), which is the same as my 18” bucket, so no shims or modifications were required. Installation was quick and easy. The bucket has forged steel bolt-on teeth, which add a bit of length and width to the bucket. I found in use you get approximately an 8-inch-wide trench when doing a straight dig with this bucket. I’ve used the bucket for a few projects, and, so far, it has performed extremely well. The narrow width has proven especially beneficial for trenching, which was my main motivation for getting this bucket. I was surprised how much easier it is to dig with this bucket in hard ground than with the wider bucket. One thing I did notice has to do with thumb length and this bucket: My excavator has a large hydraulic thumb, which works with this bucket, however, due to the shorter length of this bucket compared to my larger bucket, the thumb is a bit too long. I plan on solving this my making a shorter thumb for use with this bucket. Bottom-line: A well-made narrow (roughly 8” wide) mini-excavator bucket that has performed well. It should fit any excavator that uses 25mm pins with a 92mm mounting plate width.

Here are my thoughts on this 11.4 inch trenching/backhoe bucket for mini excavators, from Onechoi. I added some comparison pictures of this bucket next to 2 buckets I have on my Takeuchi mini excavator. One is a 12 inch, the other an 18. This little bucket is a good bit smaller in all around stature. Which is fine with me because the intended use is more for fine tuning and trench work. I have not actually used this for work yet. Just too muddy so far and I have a wain-roy connector on. But this bucket will pin on and takes 25mm pin. Should work fine with most smaller excavators. Says "up to 2 tons". The bucket itself is all forged steel. Seems to be solid and sturdy. While not exceptionally heavy, it's got good weight for it's size. I like that you can take off or replace the digging teeth. I am not used to the included side cutters, but am interested to see how to work and how they affect a dig/trench. Otherwise, the bucket is painted black and the bolt-on's orange. We'll see how the paint holds up but I don't worry too much about that. Lastly, I feel this is pretty solid smaller bucket. It should work well on smaller equipment and finer work. I'm excited to put it to use. It also cost about half as much as other similar buckets. Once I have a chance to put it through the paces - If it doesn't hold up, I'll be sure to update this review!

This bucket is well made and fits perfectly on my mini. I noticed the sides of the bucket were a bit thinner than my original 18", but the pressure on them will also be less and I haven't had any issues with strength of the bucket, including hitting stone. The included teeth are well hardened and are holding up well. I have been using this narrow bucket mainly for moving small to medium trees, and digging around the base to get a small root ball. It works well for this, although I have sharpened the leading edge of the bucket and the teeth to help cut some of the slightly larger roots more easily.

Advertisement states it’s 85 mm spread. It’s actually 90 mm. 5 mm makes a big difference with some quick attach assemblies. Causing it to not work Buyer beware numbers in advertisements are not always correct.

So this seems to be a very well made bucket for the money. The sides an back of the bucket are made of thick steel with reinforcement welds around the back an the added bolt on side cutters should increase the cutting ability while putting less force on the sides of the bucket itself. The teeth of the bucket also appear well made an can be removed or replaced since they bolt on . This bucket is an ideal size at approx 11 inches wide for digging ditches for pipes etc. Yet it's big enough to handle bigger holes if necessary with minimal damage to the area since the small size is easy to control . The bucket is designed to be fairly lightweight but plenty sturdy an also includes the 1in diameter bolts to mount to any mini excavator with 1in diameter pins. So overall I'd say this is a great option since it seems very well designed for the price an should easily last a long time making it well worth the money
