    • Good, cheap e-bike throttle
Most e-bike throttles are plastic, cheap, and will eventually break - so I've approached all my e-bike builds to have the simplest, most priceworthy throttle I can get my hands on. These are not only inexpensive, they tend to last a lot longer than the expensive stuff, and when it does go wrong, just remove the grip and brake, slide it off, and put on another one for under $10. ... show more

    • Did not work for my setup with a 25V 2.6A battery.
Not totally universal. Tried to use on a 25V 2.6A system. At 0% throttle the motor still rotates and draws 0.6A. Above 60%, it allows too much amperage and trips the battery self protect. If connected to an metered DC power supply it allows the motor to draw 9A at 100% throttle.
