Updated review (March 2024): I just repurchased this wonderful product (along with the thymus) after 3 years when I came down with a thick cough. It seemed like I had a bronchial infection but also my lungs were purging from taking a break from smoking. It was thick and green/grey and I was waking up multiples times per night to expunge it into a tissue. Gross! I do take quite a few other Ancestral Supplements and added in 1-2 lung and 3 thymus each day around 3 weeks ago. Effects were felt immediately just as my experience a few years ago- my airways felt much more open. It wasn’t long before I was sleeping thru the night with no cough or wheezing. Yesterday I had the random realization that my lungs felt much, much better. I still have some mucus, but it’s more clear and less thick and not bothersome to my life anymore. The infection has definitely passed and lungs are still purging stuff from smoking long term, but I feel almost normal now. Love the beef lung, I haven’t breathed this well in years! (Original review- 2021): Oh my wow! I have recently begun taking several of the Ancestral Supplements and decided to add the lung, which I received yesterday. I live in Southern California (pollution, wildfires) and am a chronic cannabis user and have a lot of mucus, which affects my sleep at night as I have to constantly cough to clear my throat and lungs. I took one as soon as I received it at about 4pm, then I took one more before bed to see if it would help me sleep better. The effects were extremely noticeable after an hour of taking, like I had taken a puff from an asthma inhaler. My lungs felt very clear and I was able to take deeper breaths. I noticed that when I took a big hit of weed (you know, that good good), my lungs didn’t burn or feel uncomfortable as can happen sometimes. But the sleep.... the sleep was fantastic. I had at least a 95% reduction in mucus and discomfort, could breathe beautifully and woke up much more rested. It’s the next morning now and I still feel clear and open in my airways. I am taking big, deep, clear, wonderful breaths! If you have experienced trouble breathing, you know that not only does this feel great physically, but emotionally as well. Not being able to breathe well is extremely distressing and feels like a loss of freedom. Returning to good breathing feels like coming HOME. I am simply amazed!!!!!! I can’t imagine what type of super human I will become once I am up to the full dose, but I have a feeling it’ll up my workout and hiking game as well with all of this extra fresh oxygen I’m now receiving. I am also taking the brain, bone marrow, liver, organs, thymus and am expecting the colostrum soon and will post reviews for those once I have enough “data points”. This is 100% worth every penny and more! If you’re on the fence about trying this, buy it now and do not wait!!! I haven’t breathed this well since I was a kid! I’m posting this review simultaneously under beef organs, thymus, collagen, BTC, lung, bone/marrow, and spleen, since these supplements are working in synergy. I purchased these for a friend of mine who contracted covid in March and had a severe case which almost took her life. She’s been suffering long haul covid ever since. I’m slowly nursing her back to health. Most days she sleeps, and her exhaustion is a constant symptom. She is 62, and before she contracted covid she was in good physical condition, working in retail on her feet full-time and leading a normal life. But now she's exhausted all the time. Her symptoms vary daily, sometimes changing every few hours: tingling in the arms, shortness of breath, pressure on her chest, coughing, dizziness, gastrointestinal upset, you name it and she's got it. She has her good days but they are few and far between. Her PCP up to this point hasn't been much help, not knowing what to do to help her and showing little empathy. Finally, she insisted on seeing specialists. A pulmonologist ordered x-rays of her lungs which revealed severe inflammation deep in her lungs, with water still remaining there. No wonder she has trouble breathing and feels pressure on her chest. The cardiologist told her that her heart sounded good, but he ordered a sonogram and it detected apical septal hypokinesis. She’s wearing a heart monitor for two weeks and will send the data in for analysis. Another diagnosis, another piece of the puzzle. The specialists are discovering that covid has damaged her body in a variety of ways that will take a long time to heal. BTW if you're suffering as a covid long hauler, I highly recommend that you insist on seeing specialists who will run tests to determine if there has been physical damage to your body. Don't settle for having your PCP dismiss your symptoms as something that's in your head, or simply tell you they don't know much about covid and don't know what to do for you. See a pulmonologist, cardiologist, and neurologist. Find out if you have physical damage. My friend only discovered the damage to her body because she insisted on seeing specialists and getting proper testing. The pulmonologist, especially, was well acquainted with covid cases and was most helpful. I ordered these supplements to bolster her fight as she recovers. I got the lung supplement for her lungs, thymus and BTC for her immune system, beef organs and bone/marrow for overall support, and collagen to help with her hair, which started to fall out. She also had a low reading for red blood cells, so I added spleen for her. I also decided to take the supplements myself, but switched out the lung for prostate and I’m not taking spleen. At this point, we’ve both built up to taking 3 capsules daily each of beef organs, thymus, collagen, BTC, and bone/marrow. She’s also taking 3 each of spleen and lung, and I’m taking 3 of prostate. We intend to build slowly to a full dose of 6 capsules each. After a few weeks of slowly building up the doses, my friend has had good results already. Her mood has improved, and she feels more like herself. To me, she *sounds* more like herself: stronger, more positive, and clearer. Her outlook seems to have improved and she’s feeling hopeful, which is a major step forward for her. Her general energy level is up, and she can stand for longer periods of time. She’s able to climb the stairs more easily. Her post-nasal drip has practically disappeared. Her body aches have decreased, and her morning headaches are clearing away quickly. Her insomnia has improved, and she’s sleeping soundly after she falls asleep. Her shortness of breath and chest pressure haven’t changed much but she has noticed improvement. She’s still experiencing various neurological issues: numbness, burning sensations, and an itchiness that has increased slightly. But thankfully, her dizziness has decreased. She’s enthusiastic about the supplements and it’s great to see the improvements she’s already had in such a short time. As for myself, I haven’t felt much difference, other than that my sleep quality has greatly improved. I’m finding it easy to fall asleep and sleep deeply. That alone makes this regimen worthwhile. There are also several small skin issues that are clearing up and disappearing, which is welcome news. I hope I’ll notice more results after I reach full doses and have been on this program long enough for the supplements to make a difference for me. That’s where things stand now. I’m happy she’s responding so well, things look a bit better, and most of all, she feels hopeful that someday she’ll recover. She didn’t think any improvement was possible. It’s been almost eight months since she contracted covid and she’s been struggling as a long hauler. But now she’s found something that seems to be helping. Time will tell, of course. But for now, we’ll take any small victories that come our way. The customer service has been outstanding. The owner, Brian Johnson, has contacted me several times to respond to my questions and check up on my friend’s progress. He’s always quick to respond and generous with his time. He’s the real deal.
