  • This is your new first aid kit
Style: 291 Piece - Red
I have spent hours look at and reading reviews on first aid kits. I wanted something to keep in my car for those just in case situations but I also wanted something that was big enough, but not too big, that I could add items to. Enter this first aid kit. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that the bag itself was a nice size. It's not outrageously big but it's also not so small that you'd have a hard time locating it in the car or in your house. As I picked up the bag, I was impressed with the water repellent material it's made of. It doesn't look like it's going to fall apart within a week or even a year or more. I unzipped the bag with ease and found the zipper to be sturdy. You shouldn't have to wrestle with your first aid bag when you need to access it in a hurry and with this one, you won't have to. It opens very smoothly. The 3 compartments that make up the bag are of decent size and allow space if you'd like to add additional items to your bag. I plan on adding a tourniquet, some antibiotic ointment, a tape scissors (comes with a straight scissors), additional Kling rolls, additional 4x4 and 5x7 gauze bandages, and a small battery operated flashlight. Yes, I probably could've bought a kit that already has all of these items in there. My point is, however, that there is going to be plenty of room in this bag for those additional items. You could also keep medications in this bag if you wanted to. I'm very pleased with the purchase of this bag. It's made of nice material, opens smoothly, and has room to add additional items to customize for your use. Definitely worth purchasing! ... show more

  • Great first aid kit
Style: 291 Piece - Red
This has a lot of pieces, and for a decent price! I love how much goes in it for how compact it is! Lots of fold out pockets and good for an emergency kit too!

  • Perfect "Basic-Boo-Boo" Kit
Style: 66 Piece - Shell
Despite what the description says, this is not a kit for "survival situations" or your for car, camping, travel, sports & home. The point of a first aid kit is to treat minor injuries or to stabilize a person until medical assistance can be provided. A first aid kit for survival or injuries sustained while hiking, playing sports or around the house wouldn't fit into such a tiny package. If you need a first aid kit for those situations, go with something much bigger and better equipped. Even for hiking, this is just too small to be effective. HOWEVER, this is the perfect kit for common day-to-day injuries. Just a tad bit larger than two stacked decks of playing cards, it's a nice little pouch that fits easily inside a purse or backpack without taking up much room. I'll be honest that I mostly buy ready-made first aid kits for the bag they come in, and then customize them. If they come with useful items, it's just an added bonus. This pouch is a semi-rigid fabric shell, to keep things from crushing, has decent, easy-open zippers, pockets for organizing, and the bright red color stands out. (Always have your first-aid kit in a color that stands out. You don't want to be scrambling and searching in an emergency. Whoever thought of "tactical colored" first aid kits outside of military usage should be shot. And then have to find their first aid kit in the woods in the dark to treat themselves.) The items in the kit itself are not special, but they're not bad quality either. I immediately ditched the scissors (too small to function), dot bandaids (useless), alcohol pads (only good for injection sites, not cleaning cuts), and safety manual to free up space. I kept the bandaids in useful sizes, antiseptic wipes, tape and tweezers. I cut the number of burn-cream, cotton buds and safety pins down to two each and kept the rest for restocking later. I also added two each of sting wipes, antibiotic ointment & hydrocortisone packets, eye-drops, and 2x3 gauze. I also added a single pair of gloves and a triangular bandage for any bigger emergencies. (Google the uses for a triangular bandage. They're a great, versatile emergency item you should have in any first aid kit and know how to use.) So with modifications, this tiny little kit can treat; cuts, scrapes, burns, splinters, stings, bites, minor rashes and anything a triangular bandage can manage. Not bad for such a tiny kit. ... show more

  • Great little kit
Style: 66 Piece - Shell
I really like this, it’s super easy to toss in my purse and go. I haven’t had occasion to use it yet but I like having it just in case…I’ve got an 8 year old and scrapes or cuts are inevitable and I like to be prepared. I wish this kit had come with antibiotic ointment. I tried adding a small tube of Neosporin and it BARELY fits, so not a lot of room to add things. I’m sure some things could be moved around/removed though to make a bit of room. I really appreciate the portability of this kit. ... show more

  • Compact but everything you need
Style: 291 Piece - Red
This product is great for travel. I wanted an extra bag for my car that was easy for storing but contained everything needed. This fits perfect in the back of my car. I wish I would have gotten it sooner.

  • Perfect fit for my ‘91 4Runner
Style: 291 Piece - Red
This is amazing for the price. To be honest I was just looking for a new First Aid bag as my other one finally bit the dust and the zipper failed and this fit the bill, the fact it actually came with items was a bonus for me. There’s enough room that I was able to take items from my old first aid kit and put them in this one with room to spare. I did take out the cotttonballs though, I don’t see a need for them as I have more than enough sterile gauze pads. The bag itself is made out of decent material and doesn’t carry a strong smell. Everything included in the kit seems to be of good quality, I only wish it came with iodine and sting relief capsules (I ordered both of those for less than $10 off here to add to it). I also reorganized it to manner that I find useful, every one has different needs, I have a three year old so band aids needed to be most easy to find for me. I drive a ‘91 4Runner, it has these lovely little compartments in the rear on either side. My goal was to find a bag that fit in one of those compartments and this bag fits like it was made for it! There’s a little room left under the first aid bag for my ratchet straps and tow rope. I would highly recommend this bag for cars especially if you’re a hiker like I am. ... show more
