Prime day was upon us and I had to make this purchase. After thinking about getting a portable 12v compressor for years for my trips to the off road beach trails, prime day made my decision to purchase a no brainer. My initial unboxing had me impressed. After watching some YouTube reviews of similar models, I knew to check for loose bolts before starting it. I did find 3 out 8 bolts were a little loose, about 1.5-2 turns. Not crazy loose but I didn't want them to become worse due to vibration. I aired down my tires to 15 psi and used a 4 way tire inflator hose from another purchase. That was too small and cuased the compressor to work harder than it should and become very hot. I decide to not use that other hose and just use the hose that it came with and finish filling the tires one by one. At this point I exceeded the 30 minutes duty cycle and it shut down. After waiting another 30 minutes to cool down I was able to finish all 40 tires and fill my 285-70 r18 tires to 75 psi no problem. I then used it to power my impact gun. It works for quick burst when the pressure builds up in the line and was able to remove a 13/16 nut that I tightened with a large Cresent wrench. A small auxiliary tank would work good for more air volume when working with tools. More reviews will be made after I get to use it some more on the trails ... show more

This is an absolutely fantastic compressor! I originally had a single cylinder one which would take about 15 minutes to air up all four of my tires, I had the extra money so I decided to invest in this one since I have a Thor's lightning for tire inflation kit already, the fact that this compressor has an auto shut off when it reaches a certain PSI is fantastic, it airs up my 33 in tires from 18 PSI to 36 PSI in just over 4 minutes, and that's all four tires at the same time! Don't waste your time with cheaper compressors just spend the money on this one and you'll be happy. ... show more

    • Crazy fast!
Mainly got this for stand up paddle boards. This thing is crazy fast. It aired up my SUP from flat to 15psi in under 5 minutes. Faster than I can hand pump it. Quality seems good. It’s sturdy and has great paint. Noise is not too loud. It is a little bigger than I thought. Overall would buy again and would recommend to others. Edit: this does not change my rating but it does get pretty hot when running. Instructions say that is normal but just know if you want to air and go pretty fast you either have to be really fast on the connectors or use gloves. The connectors, hoses, and unit get pretty warm. It supposedly has a thermal cutoff but I have not experienced that yet. I would not recommend buying this to mount under the hood of a vehicle, I’m not sure it would last long due to engine heat and heat from the unit itself. ... show more

This thing is insane. I hooked an air nozzle to it and it pumps enough air continuously to rival my 30 gallon compressor. I was able to fill all four of my 33" tires from 18 PSI to 37 PSI in 3 minutes which is absolutely incredible and several minutes faster than the dual ARB compressor for a fraction of the price. ... show more
