I bought these because my mom has gotten age where she needs a good armrest in order to easily get out of the chair, and in order to easily pull the chair forward when she’s sitting down in it. She puts the full force of her weight on the armrest and is Able to be more independent getting in and out of the chair. We all like firm seats on our chairs. If you like a super soft seat, this might not be the chair for you. For us, they are extremely comfortable and they look nice. My only complaint is the instructions that come with. It are not very clear. I got in touch with the company and they replied right away letting me know there’s a video with instructions. Nice basic chairs purchased for extra “guest” seating in an office space. On the firmer side, but has held up well the 2 months I have had them, and still very comfortable to sit in for a wide variety of people. I was looking for a couple, simple breakfast table chairs and found these. They arrived within a few weeks and were easy to assemble. They looked as advertised and are fairly sturdy. I saw some reviews about build quality, but I didn't have any issues. My only thought is that the cushion is pretty firm. If you don't like a firm seat, these might not be good for you. It’s pretty sturdy and good for me but one of them broke when one of my friends sat in it. We checked the weight rating and he was close to the weight limit but did not exceed it. It probably should be lowered. Also, it was very challenging to put together. I needed to ask a friend to help as some pieces were super hard to put in place. about returning these for a full refund. We took delivery less than a month ago, and upon assembling the first chair I noticed the wood was cracked and split through in several places, but seller does not allow returns. How can that be? If I had bought them from I store they would not be able to do that. I didn't bother assembling the second chair because it was too much work, and I don't want them. The packaging was very old, plastic wrap had yellowed and shipping tape was dried out and falling off. Looked like they had been sitting around in the boxes for several years. They were difficult to assemble and I have good skills for this and have assembled most of the furniture in my home, including a number of other chairs, a sectional sofa and kitchen cabinets. When you try to bolt two parts together the holes have to be lined up perfectly which takes many tries, basically blindly, because you cannot see or feel the holes as they are covered by the fabric and wood around them. The foam in the cushions also seemed old and dried out because you 'bottom out' when you sit down, which means you feel as though you are sitting on a flat piece of wood with no cushion. The chair does not wobble and seems sturdy, but I gave only 1 star for this because of the cracks and splits in the wood. Wouldn't hold up over time. Very nice looking and easy to assemble. Color is same as picture. I’ve had it about a month and sit in it short periods daily, cushion is just okay but wish it were a bit thicker. Overall great chair.
