  • These look amazing!!!
Note: this review is for the RGB fittings. I see that there are reviews for both RGB and the TT compression fitting put together here. Either way I have both in my system and no leaks and they work great. But here is my RGB review... These look amazing. Have 20 of them in my PC. They look great. I run just plain distilled water and can change my tubes color at will. They are not that hard to install but do need a little work to get the tube on the fitting. I suggest setting the end of the tube inside a little before pushing on or the rubber o ring may get pushed off. Inspect both o rings so you know they are in place after you install one. I wired my entire pc and they were easy to combine these but I only wish I knew to combine certain fittings to other fittings for a better effect. But not a big issue. I suggest you combine the wires from the fitting on both end of the same tube for best effect. They are also very expensive but if you are into RGB then these are great. Just be prepared to do some cable management as the wires have a thick sleeve and zip ties really help. Also be aware once you connect the fitting to the wire they are a pain to separate. If you have to separate use tweezers to separate the pinky hitting them at the same time. Overall look great and I love them. ... show more

  • Nice fittings that add alot of color to your build.
The media could not be loaded. ARGB fittings look great even with clear coolant in your loop. May sync well with other Thermaltake products however, the only third party sync these work with is Razer Chroma that I know of and you will have to install the TT lighting app to enable chroma control. For me, I liked the solid color cycling vs the rainbow effects which seemed washed out in the tubes. I was worried about the cable management with wires coming out of each fitting, but I think it came out pretty clean. ... show more

  • Thermaltake Pacific RGB: Stunning, But I’m Too Lazy for This
o, the Thermaltake Pacific RGB fittings? Absolutely jaw-dropping. These things are like the jewelry of PC water cooling—glowing, shiny, and ready to make your build look like it’s been blessed by a tech deity. But after much deliberation (and a few rounds of trial and error), I decided to pass… because, well, they’re just too much work for my lazy self. Don’t get me wrong, they’re gorgeous, and if you’re into the whole “spend hours perfecting every tiny RGB detail” game, these fittings are a dream come true. But for me? I realized I was more of a "plug and play" person than a "RGB artisan." The setup was like trying to build a spaceship with nothing but an Allen wrench and good intentions. If you’re up for the challenge, these fittings will turn your rig into a glowing masterpiece that’ll make your friends drool with envy. But if you’re looking for a low-maintenance, quick fix—maybe keep searching. Five stars for the sheer awesomeness of it all, but know what you’re getting into. I salute the brave souls who have the patience for these beauties! ... show more

  • Looks neat.
It works and looks neat. I was excited to try it with alexa, but as it turns out that label is incorrect as the alexa feature no longer gets updated and hasn't worked with their current software in a long while. That aside, it's a bit hard to put on, but does go on, didn't have one leak and like I said, looks neat. Worth the money: maybe, would I buy again: no. But I'm not angry at it, just disappointed a big feature no longer works but they didn't mention that. ... show more

  • Amazing look
The look of these is worth the premium. They are pretty big so keep that in mind if space is tight. Be warned any and all nicks in your lines will be visible when they're lit from the ends like this. I need to polish my acrylic tubes after I scratched some up during install. Also, you can easily get away with lighting from only one end if the section is short. Plan ahead for how to hide the rgb cables. With everything managed well you won't notice them. I had zero issues with fitment or leaks. Put a good chamfer on the inner diameter of the tubes and they will go over the o-rings no problem. ... show more

  • Fragile wires and ineffective lighting
Before I get started with the exhaustive review, here's my two cent version. The fittings are difficult to install due to the wires, the pipes can come loose, and the overall effectiveness of the LED's is extremely disappointing. I simply cannot recommend this product to anyone else. I really had high hopes for these compression fittings and RGB lighting, but upon completing this build I've decided these just aren't worth the money. At this point, I'm not sure what possible good things I can actually say about these fittings. First, let's start with the fittings themselves. These fittings, unlike most other fittings you have probably used, have a barb in the middle with two small o-rings stacked on top of one another. You absolutely have to chamfer the inside of the pipe or you'll never be able to get the pipe over them. Once you have done so, good luck trying to get it on anyway. About half the time, even after wetting the o-rings and inside pipe, the second o-ring will undoubtedly get pinched or pull out of it's groove, shoving it against the LED's in part, or entirely. IF that happens, you have to start all over or find a small plastic pry tool and gently try to shove the o-ring back inside. Once that's done, I found that 2 of them just wouldn't stay on properly, and the pipe kept creeping off. To fix that I wrapped teflon tape around the bottom of the pipe so I could tighten on the top of the fitting and keep the pipe from popping off. Next, let's talk about the LED component. The LED component is a ring of small LED's that sit just under the the edge of your pipe. They basically illuminate the circumference of your pipe. The LED's themselves are completely unprotected against water, even a small drop. If you have a few drops of water on them when you turn on the system, "poof" goes the LED. For this much money, I would have expected that they encase the LED board, and put some sort of coating or clear sealed cover over them to prevent that, but alas they did not. The next issue is the wires, which others here have pointed out. They are indeed attached to the ring in a very flimsy manner. My suggestion Thermaltake (if you are listening), is to use a small bit of clear glue to cover the solder points, to prevent that tiny fragile wire from breaking off when you are trying to tighten your fitting. If you are not insanely careful, and even if you are, likely you will break or bend one of the wires too much, and that one is toast unless you are handy with a solder gun and are able to repair it. After finally assembling and getting the system up and running, I found that the LED's were mostly innefective, unless on extremely short runs of pipe. The other LED's on my RTX water block and reservoir completely over power them. Last, let's talk about the controller. Again, I had high hopes, but again misplaced. The controller looks nice, but it comes with velcro to attach inside your case. My razer chroma controller has 2.5" mount points, so I am able to place it where any drive can be installed in my case. The biggest issue is the looseness of the connections. I found that you have to fasten your cables close to the unit, otherwise the weight of the LED cables will undoubtedly pull them out from the controller. The software, well, it's extremely underwhelming when compared to Razer synapse. Fortunately, it is actually chroma compatible, so I am able to modify the LED colors and effects through Synapse and just not fiddle with the TT software at all. ... show more
