The Jetboots couldn't have come at a better time. If I hadn't been doing research regarding compression therapy I probably would have no idea how vital this device could be. I was actually in the process of looking for something similar after I broke my leg in January. My foot swelled on a nightly basis- I believe the term was pudding foot. Not only did I need better circulation after my injury but the compression also led to pain relief I couldn't find without taking a bunch of pills on a nightly basis. I love that you can wear two at the same time although my injury was only on my left leg. The variable timer meant that if I am enjoying the treatment I can let it last for hours if I wanted. You can choose 20 40 60 or infinity minutes as well as the level of compression. If I could make an improvement I would say to have the compression hold out just a few seconds longer. As soon as it reaches the top of your thigh and the end of the boot the pressure releases back to zero and starts all over again from the toes on up. I feel the difference in my knee and foot swelling almost as soon as I use the boot. Wirelessness makes them useful not only around the house but on road trips as well. They do come with a carry sack but they are bulky and heavy so I doubt I would take them on a plane unless I had issues with lymphedema. Then it might really be helpful to have them nearby. The boots have what's called flash flush technology. It inflates and deflates within 60 seconds, beginning and ending with my puffy foot. After any kind of leg injury where you must be non-weight-bearing for 6 weeks or more, you'll notice your foot turning purple and it feels like it's about to pop. The boot relieves all of that pressure and moves the blood up your leg and towards your heart. When the boot deflates oxygen-rich blood rushes through your leg, creating a nice feeling of warmth. Even at the max pressure level you will feel no pain just a really solid squeeze. Each boot has its own control but if you're wearing them at the same time and they are paired, you only need to turn one on to make both go. When I first got the boots they were not yet on the Therabody app but they are there now! The only problem is that you must be wearing both boots or having both boots nearby for the app to work. Because of my injury I've been using just one Boot and you can't use the app that way. You don't really need to use the app though unless you want to track your recovery stats both weekly and monthly. The app will also list how many sessions you've had and the average minutes per session along with the average pressure and recovery time. If you're not a big spreadsheet athlete it's a bit overkill. Numbers is fun but not necessary. The only real deterrent to owning a pair of Jetboots is the price. But if you've got an injury or you have a tendency to work your muscles till failure like a professional athlete, these would be a must-have device for your post-gym recovery. Sessions with your boots, bring on joy, relief, and recovery faster than just toughing it out. I guarantee I would be a lot more stiff the day after exercise without using these boots.     • The best self-care investment I've ever made.
As a triathlete, training 6x days a week takes a toll on my body. My legs have long needed recovery beyond that which I get from constant foam rolling, stretching, etc. I've been eyeing these JetBoots for a bit, was a bit hesitant to invest due to the price point - but decided to pull the trigger for sake of finding some relief. VERY happy to report: This is easily the best self-care/recovery investment I've made to date. They arrived last week and I've been doing 20-60min nightly after training. The JetBoots are very easy to operate with minimal setup, had them up and running w/in 10min of them arriving. The feeling is indescribable until you try them on: Best connoted as one, inclusive massage for your legs. The pressure is surprisingly strong, easily managed by the varying pressure and timing settings. After just 20min, I was able to feel noticeable reduction in soreness and stiffness that felt surreal. Regular use over the last week has led to much faster recovery, better training sessions, sleep, rest days, etc. Very, very pleased with my investment and wish I could give the JetBoots six stars.     • Product is fine, Customer Service is horrendous
I ordered these about 8 months ago and used them a few times. They are good recovery boots and especially convenient if you need to travel. Somehow I misplaced the power adapter for these. Basically, Therabody is telling me they cannot and will not sell me a replacement power adapter so I can use the boots! I'm not asking for it for free but I'm left with boots that are now useless because the manufacturer won't provide a simple power adapter? Unacceptable and horrible customer service. ... show more

Bought these to decrease DOMS after leg day and super active workout days. I can 1000% feel the deference when I add these in. The first time I used them was after a heavy leg day in the gym and I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to play pickle ball the next day. We'll turns out I didn't have to worry at all, I was back on the court back at 100%. I'm 5.9 200 pounds. Bought the size medium and they fit perfectly. My wife is 5.4 - 120 pounds and they just fit her. She also won't go beyond the 75% pressure. I personally like the 100% setting super grip. It doesn't hurt but I can definitely feel my blood flowing out of the lower half of my body. These things are super easy to put on and strap in and made with excellent quality. Had my dad and my mother in law try it when they were over and they both picked them up too. all around 10/10 worth the investment and they absolutely work. ... show more

These boots aid in recovery and provide strong relief from aches and pains you would feel the next day without them. You can feel the blood being moved from your legs into your body! Also great for pre-workout to stimulate your muscles!

This did help me be less sore the next day but it also was way too expensive! Costco had this for cheaper during a promotion so I got it there instead. I couldn't get the app to work either.

Update: after nearly a month on and these Jet Boots have enabled me to train 7 days a week. I’ve now increased my weekly mileage adding another 40 miles. Couldn’t be happier, these jet boots are a must for daily riders. Averaging 400-600+ miles cycling a month the boots keep my legs pumping, stiffness that usually sets in overnight is gone. The design is simple and extremely functional, with great battery life. The pump is almost silent, great when you’re winding down.
