The gun does what it’s supposed to. The vibration is really a thumping so if it’s a case of sore muscles it’ll do the job. I was looking for something more like a massage and I purchased an attachment from Target that does that. Overall I’m glad I bought this. Not cheap!

I love this thing. I’ve been using a flyby for several years and finally decided to treat myself to a mini theragun which is easier to travel with. This little thing packs a punch! I’ve used it on the bottoms of my feet, above my knees, on sore muscles after leg day and my husbands sore back and shoulders. We love it. I highly recommend it. I’ll be bringing it to work tomorrow. I’ll update the review if it lets me down, but I don’t think it will. ... show more

Quality issues. I ordered a Thera mini plus and was stoked about the heating feature. When I received the product, the product looked unfinished. It had two different types of coating. The gun works fine, for the travel version it heats up quick and has a little umph to it. This review is more for the customer service aspect of therabody. In the past I’ve trusted this company and was upset that before they did not sell chargers for its older product. This forced me to upgrade to this new massage gun. Only to receive a messed up looking version of the gun. When I did write the company, they made it seem like I added extra oil too the brand new opened box item. Straight out of the box and they assumed I was in the wrong. Had to go through the Amazon customer service which, when sending it back charged for the sending back fee. Crazy. You buy something brand new and receive a product that needs some assistance only to deal with the shenanigans tied to a return. When it was no fault to you that you bought their product. Over all though the gun is fine, would have loved for the unit to come with a cold attachment. But maybe on the next version. Please fix this customer service and actually have a number that people are able to talk to a staff about such issues. ... show more

The description on Amazon and the video ad imply an easy to use massager that you can whip out and use anywhere. The handle on the mini plus is substantially larger than the mini- there is nothing mini about this unit. It is also much heavier than the mini 3. Can’t tell you about massage quality as we sent it back upon just holding it. Update: $45 restock/damage fee- avoid purchase unless totally committed to product. I did order the Mini 3 and kept it but there was no adjustment on the return my Theragun/Amazon even after escalating claim Also- be careful on returning as the “damage/restock “ fee is 15-20% of the invoice price. ... show more

I’m almost 60 and holding this thing is not easy after like 3 mins of use. Getting one with a handle is definitely way better and easier to use.
