    • Definitely eliminates muscle soreness

I was skeptical of this being an overpriced automatic massage machine whereas a simple leg muscle roller is a lot cheaper. So as an athletic 44 year old, I really put it to the test over the course of 3 days cycling 100+ miles including sprints up steep hills. The bottom line is when set to maximum level 100, these entirely eliminate muscle soreness from occuring the day after a workout. So much so that I stopped needing to take aspirin. For best results though I definitely recommend using them immediately after working out. I don't feel like they help in terms of full muscle recovery since tiny muscle tearing still occurs, but they do help prevent blood from pooling in your legs, especially feet, which I assume reduces inflammation and therefore pain. These Therabody RecoveryAir Prime boots are amazing! As a runner, I’m always on the lookout for products that will help with recovery after a tough workout. I popped these boots on after my last few workouts and the sequential compression feels great – kind of like a mini squeezy massage. My legs subjectively felt fresher the next day for my workout (whether that’s a true effect or my imagination, I don’t know – but I’ll take it!). One thing I loved about this particular product was it was super simple to use right out of the box. When you open the box, the boots are in there and the cord part is already hooked up to them. The pump is separate in the box, and you just turn it on. Place your legs in the boots, insert the cords from the boots into the pump, and you’re ready to roll. The pump itself is a lot quieter than I expected – there’s a light humming noise, but we could keep it on while watching TV without being bothered. You can set the product to work in different timed cycles, 20/40/60 min, which was nice to just kind of set and forget while you were relaxing in it. The only issue I noticed is as a curvier female runner, I have thick thighs and smaller feet/ankles – so sometimes I felt slightly less compression on the foot part of the boot compared to the thigh part. But honestly, not enough of a difference that it really mattered to me. Overall, really love these and am glad I got a pair. ... show more

The compression on these is unbelievable, especially if your legs are fat and squishy. My thights are 27", I bought the medium because I'm only 5'2". They are way too long, but I can zip them over my chubby thighs, with effort. After working all day at a job where I climb stairs and walk 10,000 steps, i was in intenseleg pain. I chose this brand because 1. We have the theragun and knew it would be great quality 2. Cheaper than Normatec and 3. Great reviews ! We have the Normatec Af our gym and love it. Wanted a set for our family at home since we are active and have athletes in the home. I chose this brand due to the 3 reasons above. Have to say it as good as Normatec brand and you wouldn’t know the difference af all and at least $200 cheaper. Definitely recommend ! ... show more

I am a coach, bodybuilder, and soccer mom. Over the years, I find recovery more and more challenging as making time for fitness is time-consuming, not to mention adding more time to stretch and recovery. Overall, similar to the Theragun, the RecoveryAir boots are easy to pack, use and make recovery so much easier. I love the fact that you can reuse the packaging and it stores easily. I think the simplicity of the device is perfect: on/off switch, pressure gauge, and automatic timer settings. You can easily take it apart and put it together in under 5 minutes. I noticed with high-intensity interval workouts, using these boots speeds up recovery and reduces soreness in the joints as quickly as the next day. I notice on low energy days, days, where I am stuck in front of the computer and my legs, are too sedentary, the compression boots activate and stimulate oxygen to my legs and I find myself in a calm, tranquil meditative state either on my bed, on my sofa or laying on my rug. They are so comfortable I've learned to work with them while on my computer on my lap, reading a book, watching tv, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy, convenient way to recovery from muscle soreness, fatigue, or achy joints. The RecoveryAir boots easily transformed my home into an instant spa/recovery center and helps my everyday training routine respond and recover faster. Did a bunch of research and was skeptical at first. Also bought a cheap similar product which ended up with a permanent home for my closet. Once I fired these babies up on the day after leg day, level 50. Ok. Once you have the courage to go up to level 100 and they kick in on full blast they are the best things ever. Since I got them i've been using them every day. Feels a little like space boots, but after I use them I'm back in action twice as fast as I was before. Now that i've been using them I get worried that they may break and I could only justify spending this amount of cash one time. So far, awesome and I hope they last until I die. Things I didn't realize: 1) The actual compressor unit is battery powered so you can take them on the go and you don't have to be super close to an outlet or fish an extension cord across the living room. 2) Couple different programs that you can do with various modes. Modes go from Full blast - to subtle massage. Highly recommend, super cool, closest thing to a space suit I've been able to purchase thus far. ... show more
