Tips: -This K TAPE is a synthetic brand which has a better hold and more/different layers integrated into the weave which gives a better support/hold. -Make sure that you do clean your skin prior to application, an alcohol pad will help remove any skin oils to help improve the adhesion of the tape. -If you have sensitive skin (or want to keep the tape in place longer) please look into purchasing skin prep to be used under this tape-after you alcohol swab the skin. It is easily found on amazon by searching skin prep (smith and nephew have best product). Skin prep will put a very thin protective silicon layer between your skin and the tape which protects your skin as well as improving the hold of the tape. (I was able to get an extra day or two out of it with this) -To remove tape put some baby oil on a cotton ball and start to peel the end the tape back then place the cotton ball on the skin and rub as you're pulling the K TAPE away from your skin slowly. This will easily help the tape remove and not damage skin as badly, the oil helps dissolve the bond to your skin. -Theraband has hexagon imprints which work perfectly for you to gauge the amount of stretch you are using when applying this tape. This is important as there are different qualities with different stretches. -There are thousands of videos out there on the application of this tape, typically research the company name and the joint or muscle/tendon you are trying to stabilize and they will pop up. This tape is AMAZING. I have already purchased a second and third time. Love that you can see easily how much you are stretching it, and its adhesion time compared to other brands is far superior! To start, this is an AMAZING product. (Tips for application & removal @ the end) I am currently an occupational therapy graduate student and have previously used KT tape for my knee and wrist in treatment. I actually like this tape MORE than the original KT tape brand. TheraBand is slightly thinner but doesn't lack on adhesion. I have fairly avg skin sensitivity and while it isn't super comfortable to take off (like any other KT tape) my skin is back to normal within 30 minutes. The hexagons are also super helpful for application and applying the correct stretch! It also makes it much easier for you to tell someone else how to correctly apply it to an area you may not be able to reach. *****TIPS & TRICKS***** *Prior to application, make sure to remove hair from the area about 3 hours before and refrain from any perfume or lotion. (instructions say 1 hour, earlier will only help with skin sensitivity) *Use the guiding lines on the back to cut strips thinner or smaller (round edges on the cut end to reduce the corners rolling up) *Pay attention to the hexagons for stretch (key is on the back of every piece) *I only leave mine on for 3 days and allow my skin at least 2 days to breathe in between uses *When removing, DO NOT RIP, pull slowly and keep skin tight. Allow tape to soak prior to removal. Dawn dish soap actually has worked best for me to cut through the adhesive. *If using a large amount or removal is very painful, cut off the chunk that is removed and give your skin a break for a bit!

After an auto accident caused carpal tunnel in my thumb and wrist, I've used this to relieve the pain and weird numbness. It sticks to the skin really well, until it gets wet. Once it gets wet it quits sticking pretty much immediately, but I'm ok with it because it makes removal easy. My sensitive skin doesn't like adhesives, but this doesn't bother me at all even when I wear it for 12+ hours. I did notice the black/gray color leaves this weird linty residue on everything, but no issues like that at all with the red/black......plus the red/black reminds me of Spiderman lol. Definitely recommend for my fellow sensitive skin people out there!!!!

I wish I understood the science behind this stuff, but I don't. I have a wonky hip and a wonky knee. I live really close to Disney, but sometimes walking around the park is killer on my joints and just unbearable. So, I've learned to tape my hip and knee before I go and this stuff saves my life every time! Again...no clue HOW it works, but it just does. I'm not 100% pain free, but pretty darn close, and it makes walking a lot more bearable. It stays on pretty well too, through Florida sweat and those pesky rain storms. I'd highly recommend this if you're on the fence. Plus, the color is great. I mean, if I'm going to be wearing tape around the park, might as well make it pretty, am I right?

Works okay but I'll stick to KT Pro tape. The reason I gave this three stars was I really like hexagon design.I think it would be really helpful to someone new to taping. One of the biggest down side to this is all of the company's guides for taping uses the none pre cut tape. That being said I can't uses this tape because I had a bad skin reaction. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone swimming in a chlorinated pool. It started falling off in the pool and came off completely after exiting the pool. That was on day one after only having it on two hours. Tried it again with no pool had to take it off on day two. My skin broke out in a rash. I have used KT brand original and KT Pro tape. This is pretty comparable to KT original, with the strength of adhesive. I could only stand to have the KT original on for three days but never broke out in a rash. If you swim KT Pro is better it usually last 5-7 days for me.
