  • Good 2.1 sound
Set this system up in my living room today. I have a smaller sized apartment so can't go too extreme with surround sound. This system fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of good sound to fill my apartment. Tested music via Bluetooth and found quality sound with the perfect amount of punch. Hooked to my TV (used an optical to aux converters as it has no optical input) and tested on some of my favorite movies and shows. This thing outperforms any of the myriad of sounbars I have tried. Opening scene to Cannonball Run filled my apartment with that glorious Countach soundtrack with excellent quality. Now some sidenotes: 1. The remote is cheapish but works. It does however have some minor interference with my Roku TV. 2. No optical input. I new this when purchasing, but it is something to consider. 3. The cables for the speakers are short in my opinion. They worked for me, but not in the positioning I planned. For the money this is good bang for buck value in my opinion. ... show more

  • A really great sounding system.
This is a terrific sounding system and a terrific bargain. I have never owned a really "primo" expensive stereo system but this little gem sounds terrific to me. I've read some of the customer reviews and complaints about the "loud clicking popping sound" when the unit is turned on and off, they are very much exaggerated from my point of view. It DOES pop (click/beep/whatever) when turned on and off. But, no big deal and certainly nothing deafening or in danger of destroying an ear drum or blowing out a window. It's audible.....what more can I say? And, it's only when the unit is turned on or off. Other than that (which is no biggie to me), it works GREAT!. It has been the solution to my problems. I have a huge music collection on my laptop (duplicated on my desktop). Finding something that I could stream music to from my laptop (the @#$!! desktop, though supposedly bluetooth capable, is a complete wash out).....I have searched high and low for a small stereo system that I could accomplish that with and it has been a real frustration. They all advertise their bluetooth capability steaming from a cell phone, which is definitely NOT my thing, and if they mention streaming from a computer at all, they will not commit to it being able to be done from a laptop or a desktop. This one DOES perfectly. I live in a very small house and have limited space fro anything too large or elaborate. This is a real gem and has been, for me, the perfect solution. As far as I'm concerned, it sounds every bit as good as any large audio system, takes up a fraction of the space, couldn't be any louder without blowing out my ear drums. and has all the bass anyone could ever need or want. Remarks about there not being enough bass completely puzzle me. Maybe it's just ME?! But, young people today seem to need the walls and floors to shake with loud booming bass which only detracts from the experience, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe it's the only thing they can hear because their hearing has been so severely damaged by loud, booming, thumping, pounding (needless and pointless) bass? Anyway, if you are looking for a good music experience, buy one of these, you will be pleased with it. Works perfectly with bluetooth and has all of the other options you could possibly require: USB, as well as AUX inputs. AND, the remote is a real bonus! ... show more

  • Not bad for $50
They worth $50 (or 52ish) Nothing special but i think the set was worth its selling price. i'm in high doubts it's 300 watts though. If you use this for PC or even tv let me pass some good advice along to you when first hook it up max the speaker system's volume (mine stopped at 16) then turn your device volume to 0 that you hook to this set that way you have better volume control over the speakers you wont have to adjust the speakers themselves after this. Now if PC is your device, anymore most modern PC has realtek audio usually come with software equalizer flat line that then for speakers turn treble knob max and sub's bass to 50-60%% play some music with vocals and mix of bass and highs then go into your equalizer settings and do manual adjustments till you get the sound you are wanting. I personally go with little more treble sound over bass because I watch movies and such on my pc, I don't want voices to be muffled and bassy. This just some simple advice you don't have to accept it but if you want the best out of this system use an equalizer. I highly recommend this set if you are on a budget and/or don't really want more than 2.1 stereo. ... show more

  • Worth the money, but not superb
The sound quality is good, and I have no complaints about that. My only beef with this system is the lack of "sound presence". I bought this set to replace a 15 or 16 year old 5.1 channel speaker set. That old set still works, but the remote gave up the ghost and I can no longer turn up the volume on the surround speakers. Coming from that 5.1 channel set to this 2.1 channel set, I find that the wall of sound that I am used to simply isn't there. Not a fault with this system at all, but just not cutting it for my living room. They will be moved to my computer system to replace the old 2.1 channel set up that has gotten long in the tooth over the last 12 years or so. ... show more

  • These Sound Amazing
I was looking for a replacement for my logitech z313 speakers that Iโ€™ve had for 3 years. I wanted something with 2 Channel speakers and a sub woofer as a set (a 2.1 speakers system) for my bedroom, and something with more bass, since the Logitech z313โ€™s only had a 40 watt subwoofer. I stumbled upon these speakers, and what caught my attention was the price. As I looked further in the description of the speaker, I was amazed to see that the subwoofer can max out at 200 watts, and the channel speakers are 50 watts each (totaling out to 300 watts peak power). So, I bought the speakers, and as soon as I set them up, I was blown away by how much sound comes out of these. I was amazed by how clear the channel speaker are at high volumes, and how much bass there is. The USB port on top of the subwoofer is very convenient to charge something like a phone, or other things too (I charge my Apple Watch off of it). The remote can be a little difficult to get used to, since it doesnโ€™t turn on the speaker system, it only turns on the led screen of the subwoofer so you can toggle between Bluetooth, auxiliary, usb and SD. The speakers are very easy to set up, and they are an amazing value for your money. ... show more
