I've wanted some farming-style gameplay for a while and I've always loved the aesthetic of the English countryside to start with, so I was really looking forward to getting this. It's been a lot of fun so far and I've really enjoyed both building and playing. I did run into an issue with receiving the bonus content but I was able to resolve that when I contacted EA. Here are the exact steps I did: - Go to EA's help website (should be first Google result if you google "EA help") - Click "Help with a Game" - In the search field, I typed Origin, NOT Sims 4, then clicked Origin as the game - On the next page, I clicked "Missing Content" in the first drop down field, then PC since that's the platform I ordered the pack for - Further down the page where it says "Looking for something else?", I clicked the "Contact Us" button - On the next page under "Select issue", I clicked "Never received content" - I clicked a blue button called "Select contact option" appeared at the bottom after I finished the previous step - The next page had a box with a button to request live chat, which I clicked after filling out the subject field This connected me to a customer service person in a live chatbox, and they were able to add in the missing bonus content after asking where I made my purchase from and what my game key was. I have also heard around that The Sims has been pretty responsive on Twitter with helping people resolve this issue, so that could be another option if the above doesn't work. ... show more

Physical box with a code for cottage living does not come with the bonus content, despite it being advertised by EA. After hours with EA support, they finally were able to provide me with the content advertised. Hopefully if they do an event like this in the future it will be more organized.

A lot of items not working right like the pond and ducks might be unrelated but it needs a major update to fix this.
