I’ve never fed any of our dogs canned food before, but recently started with one dog due to a medical condition upon recommendation from the veterinarian. I read all the reviews about the plastic lid covers not fitting very well and then I found this product. I really love it! The can fits right inside and stays fresh and covered and no smells (although I’m not sure why because there is NOT a rubber gasket inside). Either way, it works great and I’m glad I found them.

I’ve used this for a few months now and it is great! Neat, sturdy, simple, contains the dog food smell, and easy to clean. The bright blue color is easy to find in a crowded fridge on those early sleepy eyed mornings. Overall it is a great design & way better than a lid, cellophane or transferring the dog food over to Tupperware. Don’t hesitate!

Edit. I read other negative reviews and glad I ignored them. Zero problems. Not sure if others received defective items but the 4 I have are so easy to use. Open and close seems impossible to mess up. Food stays as fresh as the day can is opened. This is something I did not know I needed until I saw it. I received my order a few days ago and this is exactly what was needed for canned dog food! My pups would turn their noses up to food that was more than one day opened. I was tired of throwing away expensive food so when I saw these I thought YES!!! I ordered 4 because I have 4 different canned foods I use, weight loss for one, senior sensitive stomach for another, ground to wrap medicine in for my senior foster. The only thing that would make these even more perfect if they came in clear to see which food is in each container.
