It was just as expected! Super warm, and not bulky. I’m a dress size 6 and got a medium so that I could wear layers underneath. I definitely think a small would be too snug, even without a lot of layers, although I usually wear size small tops. I love that this is warm AND waterproof. Perfect for watching outdoor sports or walking out in the cold. Too long for something super-active like skiing.

This coat is expensive but so very warm. Not heavy to wear. Fits somewhat small. Buy larger size especially if u want to wear bulky sweaters with it. All in all great coat & worth the money. Oh btw the length of the coat is another plus in keeping you warm.

Love the coat. Nothing on outside of coat that says North Face. Other coats have the North Face label on outside of coat. If I'm paying 300.00 dollars for a coat it better show label like their other coats.

Buying this coat was a major purchase for me, I don't normally spend this much money on a coat. I was nervous about the fit. I received the coat yesterday, and I was not disappointed! The fit was perfect, the coat was cute and warm, everything I wanted in a winter coat! I'm 5'8" and weigh 135 pounds. I bought the size large. I wanted a coat that was roomy enough for sweatshirts and sweaters but not baggy, this coat gits the bill perfectly. I love it and really wish I had bought it sooner! This was definitely a good purchase and I recommend anyone looking for a good, warm, cute coat to buy it and not have any second thoughts about it, you won't be disappointed!

Very nice coat, sturdy, very warm even during recent bomb cyclone and awful cold that followed it. I love the color and classy design. It’s not too bulky looking. Worth the money. I’m very pleased with this coat!

when I take off the hood the collar is too tall and in my face. There seems to be nothing to correct it. It is also too long and seems like just too much coat. It was purchased early as a gift, and so I didn't get to open until Christmas -- too late for return. I wore it once, and will likely never wear again.

I bought a down coat a year ago from a reputable company. It was warm but the zipper gave me trouble from the get go. eventually it got stuck, rendering the item useless. This time I bought this coat which is very warm, looks great, and the zipper works smoothly. Walking the dog in the snow and wind and I'm toasty. I'm very pleased.
