If you tend to wear sweaters, consider sizing up but it’s not necessary because this coat will keep you warm without the bulk. Fur trimmed, roomy hood secured by 4 buttons, dual ended zipper slides easily, 2 outside pockets with nylon lining and 1 internal, zippered pocket across the left chest. If you can get past the price, it’s an all-around solid investment you can dress up or down & comes in several color options. I do wish it had inter wrist cuffs but the arms are long enough that it’s not a deal breaker. Size XS Coat Measurements: pit to pit 17”; length 43”; shoulder to wrist 23”. This is the warmest... The only downfall- if it is an actual downfall, it is real down so feathers come out once in a while. the fit is perfect. I am a size 4 and the Small is just right. The first Parka I ordered smelled like it was already used and the second one was dirty with makeup, had a tier in it and did not include a tag. Besides that, the jacket is very nice, light, warm and great design. The only flaw I noticed is that you can see on the white parka the feathers.

I've had a long Patagonia coat for many years. I gained weight and they don't have my size (XXL - apparently I'm not Patagonia's brand demographic). North Face had my size in similar long coat, similar price. I like that it is much lighter weight as my P coat and just as warm. However, I'm disappointed in how heavy the faux fur around the hood is. This causes it to constantly fall over my face -- and there's no way to keep it up and out. Patagonia had an elastic to snug up the hood and secure its position (and they don't bother with faux fur). The saggy hood is a problem since I live in MN and often need it. Not sure how to work around this flaw. ... show more
