Purchased this coat after hearing how warm North Face coats are, living in Chicago I wanted a warm coat for the winter. This North Face coat did not deliver. The coat was light and I knew it would not make a Chicago winter. The coat would probably have worked in Atlanta or other states where they seldom if ever get below 30 degrees. The coat wasn't as heavy as my Nautica Coat which cost $80 and it is very warm. The North Face coat was beautiful, and the navy blue color was perfect, I really wanted to keep it but after just experiencing 4 days of below-zero weather I knew the best thing to do was return it. If you live anywhere where the temperatures dip below 30 degrees save your money.

Totally different fur color , looks on picture fluffy big and black/grey here more brownish and looks so cheap ,ordered two sizes s and xs ,s perfect in chest but big in hips and waist xs opposite small in chest perfect in waist and hips ,for that money not warm enough,now in Chicago we have 23 degrees,tried it on and stand couple of minutes outside no way that will keep you warm in walking when spending time around ..so well returning both

Unsurpassable style and quality, true to size. There are cheaper models available but they have that low grade goose down odor. This one is a bit pricey but worth every penny. I also bought the same in a parka length.

Great length, collar is terrific. Seems warm enough but only a bare minimum of fill towards the bottom. Otherwise it fits and looks great!
