Fantastic starter tent for this 61-year-old. I had no trouble setting up the tent or packing it up. The first night I set it up, it rained hard. I slept well, and was dry all night. The bottom 4” of the tent forms a tub that keeps all the moisture out. The clips are so much better than the sleeves I remember from older tents. Really, the entire tent is very well made.     • Best tent for moto-camping I’ve used. It needs better stakes and the foot print is separate

Excellent tent. I used this on a recent ride-camp-ride trip through eastern Canada. This tent worked very well for that purpose. It packs down small enough to put in my panniers. After some practice it’s quick to put up and take down. It’s very well made and was leak proof in two rain storms we camped through. With the rain fly installed it sleeps a little warm for summer but was perfect for Canadian summer nights. The stakes are cheap bent wire. They’re adequate but would never work in sand or loose soli. I changed them out to aluminum sand stakes. I’d also recommend getting the purpose made for print. It’s the exact size and the way the tent incorporates it, it adds to the structural integrity of the tent. After the plus-plus of footprint and better stakes, this is really $300 tent. It had plenty of room for me and my gear. The vestibules are large enough to store gear (boots, helmet and a dry ban as well. This is probably too big for a long trek but would work well if you’re only backpacking a couple of days. I’ve tried several different tents for motorcycle camping and this one is the best so far. ... show more

Great tent, worth the extra money. Simple to set up. Size is just right for two people. Light. We camped in 50 degree lows and it was nice and warm. It was comfortable. The zippers seem nice and over all it seems like a durable tent.
