Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. Got a size medium. He’s about 145 lbs & 5’11”. It fits perfect everywhere and the length is excellent. Would be a bit snug with a sweater underneath but that’s no problem. The coat is warm enough with just a long sleeve shirt. It’s very comfortable. Arms don’t feel restricted. There is a zipper pocket on the inside. The face covering is built into the hood inside. I like the option to remove the fur from the hood and that the hood is adjustable. It doesn’t feel too light weight but at the same time not heavy when wearing, basically what you would expect for it to work and keep you warm. Works well in rain or snow. I’m so happy with this purchase and my husband loves it! Glad I didn’t go with a large for him because it would look too baggy. The color is awesome too. Perfect winter coat! Hands down the best winter jacket I’ve ever bought. My mom bought me lambs wool corduroy leather jacket some years back that is my favorite jacket, but that’s a different category isn’t it. Anyway, this jacket is awesome! Spent most of December and January going around northern Germany and Finland and I never even thought about getting cold in this jacket. Granted I’m a hot natured guy to begin with, but this jacket did the job and looked good doing it. It has elastic cuffs and skirt to keep it tight to the body. This is good for keeping in heat and not having the jacket interfere with everything you’re trying to do. Unless something unthinkable happens to this jacket, I don’t plan on getting another winter jacket... maybe ever. ... show more

    • Great value for money
I work in the Tokyo city center, and live in the outskirts of Tokyo. Winter here ranges from -4 Deg C at night/morning to about 8 in the afternoon (Sorry I don't know what it is in farenheit). This jacket is more than comfortable in these temperatures, keeping me toasty all the way through. Windproofing was stellar too, couldn't feel the slightest hint of wind, and we get some really gusty days in Tokyo. Haven't really tested it in mountainous areas but I'm quite certain that it'll stand up to the test. I won't go all out and say that it'll be invincible in a place like Canada or Russia, but if you're an urban dweller then this is definitely more than sufficient and comfortable. The only gripe I have is that the size runs large; I'm 178 cm (5'11 I think) and size S for this jacket justtttt about fits me, so I recommend going down half or a full size. All in all a great jacket, great value for money, and if it breaks down (bloody hell I hope it won't, this thing feels tough) I'll be getting another one pretty sharpish. ... show more

Fit is perfect! Provides warmth without bulk! Fabulous overall design. Hood with integrated face mask is a really nice touch. Comfortable. Provides excellent warmth. Just an all around great winter coat.

I bought and returned two other jackets that were rated the same as this jacket but they did not block the cold across my back. This jacket is exactly as describes described and my back doesn’t get cold. It’s warm, waterproof and blocks the wind. Fit is great. I’m 5’ 7 inches and 190 lbs. and the large fits perfect. Customer service is great, it came faster than expected with a nice note from sender that they expedited the delivery. The jacket is well made and the zippers are good quality. More than enough jacket for anywhere in the U.S. I took this jacket on the hike to Everest Base Camp in 2018 and it was an absolute godsend when I stopped for the night. However I will warn you that wearing this jacket when doing even moderately strenuous activity will cause you to sweat to death so if you are on the move just remember to wear layers. This jacket compresses down nicely into a small-medium sized compression stuff sack. The stitching, down-fill and zipper are top-notch. The faux-fur hood liner snaps on and off of the hood quite easily. I thought I wasn't going to use the fur liner at all but it does one heck of a good job of keeping wind off your face so I kept it on for most of the trip.
