My son is 21m and over the 99th percentile for height, over 3 feet tall. Size 2T usually works for him but this jacket has super weird proportions. The arms are SO long, and the elastic is wide and not tight enough to keep them on his wrists. Rolling up the sleeves doesn't work either due to the fleece underside, so that looks weird, and rolling inside slips out. The jacket is a little wide too. The elastic band at the bottom isn't tight so even when zipped the jacket would let it drafts. Good luck playing in the snow. I like that the jacket is reversible but I don't know why you would reverse it other than for looks. Also the fleece side doesn't have pockets and you can see the seams where the jacket was constructed, which annoys me aesthetically. We settled with the Perrito jacket, which is better, but also has flaws. The product designers should really consider how kids move and grow and what's needed in the jackets. Tight elastic on the arms and bottom, adjustable inside toggles for different weather conditions, growth snaps, pockets WITH zippers and on both sides. That's just the start. So, spend money on something else IMO.

We have purchased this style coat several times but this year's version has a removable hood that is attached with plastic snaps. The hood was constantly falling off. We ended up sewing it to the jacket to avoid losing it. Poor design choice. Otherwise, this is a cozy, warm jacket that will likely last for two winters.
