The padded jacket has a Non-PFC DWR finish for added water repellency, horizontal quilting on the exterior, and 600-fill recycled waterfowl down in the body. It is designed with an attached, three-piece hood with Heatseeker Eco synthetic insulation for warmth and performance, long sleeves with elasticized binded cuffs, and a straight hemline. Zippered front closure. Exposed, VISLON center front zip with a zippered chin guard. Heat transfer logo print on the left chest, back-right shoulder of outer, and left chest of reverse. Zippered hand pockets. ID label. Reversible design. 100% polyester. Machine wash, tumble dry.

I choose a size l for my son which is 13 and he normally used small because he is tiny I shoose large cause I read the review and it say a size up even with 2size up this jacket still small not good the arm length are short also the L size is for 8 year old kid not good do not buy it

    • Disappointed in the Sizing
The jacket itself is nice! North Face has great products! I would have loved for this to have worked out for my son. However, the sizing was weird. He is normally a size 5-6 in shirts (6 being on a bit big side). I ordered the equivalent size of a 6 and it wasn’t close to a 6 lol. My 2 year old daughter wears a 3T and this would have probably fit her perfectly without being too big. It was so short and his whole belly would have been exposed if he raised his hands up in the air. The sleeves were a little short too. Normally this would be no big deal and I’d just order a different size. However, it was on sale for $69.50 when I ordered it and when I went to return and reorder it, it was no longer on sale, the other sizes were sold out, and the other color options weren’t on sale. So it definitely sucked missing out on such a great deal. We ended up going to the sporting goods store and buying another North Face coat that was similar. We went with a size small in it and it fits with extra room to grow! ... show more
