I love the dusky lavender color of this blanket, the softness and the fact that the minky material is so densely packed and thick. There is no shedding and it covers my whole body amply with room to spare at the throw blanket size. It feels just like real fur. The photo in the ad is true to color, it just looks lighter on my end due to camera flash. Purchased this for my living room to match up to the sunset colored coverings on my rocking chair. This throw is amazing! It's thick, weighty, large and so so soft. I ordered this one as a second throw to use in combination with a much more expensive one that I had ordered and honestly this version is just as nice. Given the price I will definitely be ordering more for gifts. The blanket looks beautiful on my bed. It is soft, thick, and I love the texture. However, I am picky about my fur blankets and this one has that plastic/synthetic feel to it that does not feel warm like other similar blankets that I have.
