It's not big but it is just right for anyone under 6' tall that would like something as a throw blanket, wrap or even just a cover on the couch while watching a movie. It does it all. I am super picky about my faux fur blankets because some of them have this texture to them that is hard to describe. Almost like the fur is sqeaky or kind of cheap feeling? Unfortunately this blanket gives me that feel. And the lighthouse cream color is just ok. Like again, it's hard to describe but it almost looks dirty with the way the color is applied to this blanket. I love the bubbly texture of the blanket itself though, and my cat loves it. So I think this will be mostly for decoration and for the cats to lay on. ... show more

The blanket is seriously hot! I sweat under it every night. Why am I still using it? Great question! It is lightly weighted (not crushingly so), soft, fluffy, and comforting. I used it for a few nights, but then the temperature started warming up, so I stopped and found that I struggled to stay asleep. Upon putting the blanket back on my bed, I slept through the night except for waking up to stick a leg out because I was hot. I wish it didn't have to be line-dried, though. The media could not be loaded. I’ve had my experience with a few of these faux fur blankets and not all of them are equal. This blanket hits all the marks. I cannot tell you how soft it is. It feels more like real fur than any faux fur I’ve put my hands on (which has been a lot). It’s buttery, dense, I could just go on and on. I love that the back side is velvet and blanket itself is heavy. That’s how real fur blankets are. They’re heavy and lined with a soft, dense velvet on the back. Except you’re going to dish out thousands of dollars for a real fur blanket. Get this instead! One you put your hands on it, you won’t want to stop touching it. I would love to see more colors. Black would be an amazing but even a dark grey or mottled styles so I can put these in different rooms of my house. I’m super happy with this blanket. Finally a faux fur that truly feels like real fur and doesn’t break the bank. Plus you can pop in the washer when it needs to be cleaned. The light grey color is true to color also. This is a nice, high-quality, soft blanket. The product arrives as advertised, and the color is what I was expectging (Shoreline beige). It's a heavy blanket that is great for winter. The tufting on the fur side adds nice texture and depth to the blanket as an accent piece for home decor.
