This is a great pattern if you happen to have a little one (my Grandgirl) who is over the moon about unicorns. This quilt is a lot of fun to make. The instructions are complete enough. I think they assume a basic knowledge of applique and quilting. If you're new to applique, and you're expecting this pattern to teach you everything you need to know, then I think you'll be disappointed. This pattern can be used "as is" or can be easily adapted to a custom size. I adapted the pattern to a "throw" size and used some of the pattern pieces while designing others of my own. It's fun and colorful and easy to navigate.

There are two sizes of the unicorn block included. One size is printed on each side of the paper, meaning you cannot use a light box or window to help in tracing the pieces. Also, you must tape four pages together to create the papers.
