I just jumped in and tried embroidery without understanding what I was doing. Then the tension went bad and the thread started looping under the fabric and I decided to look for a good book. This book is organized in a way that makes sense to me. I've learned things I've been doing incorrectly and others that I've done right, I've learned why that's the best choice.
