Saw a YTuber use Mousse Def and I decided to give it a try. After going to The Doux's YT channel to see how to apply it correctly, it was my turn to try a Wash n Go. This was fantastic for my hair!! Not only was I able to do the quickest WnG in history on my hair, it dried quickly and defined my curls like never before. If I don't blow dry my hair using a diffuser, it takes almost a day (if not longer) for my hair to air dry. My hair type is a combination of 3C, 4A, and 4B. With Mousse Def, my hair air dried in two hours! Two!!! The definition? Fabulous! It had been years since my curls popped like this without using heavier products. They were noticed and complimented immediately! On Day 2, I started experiencing the volume other users mentioned and I was loving it. Day 3, even bigger hair and better shaped. Day 4, I started getting frizz near the scalp (I sleep on satin a pillowcase), so I misted that hair for a little moisture and applied a little of the Mousse Def; back to perfection. Oh and I didn't 'have' to dampen it. Mousse Def can be applied to dry hair. It was my choice. Day 5, I put my hair in a loose top knot, lightly misted my hair with water, then applied a little Mousse Def all the way around the perimeter. Fresh curls reactivated! Day 6, repositioned and re-secured the top knot. Good to go! Day 7, wash day, though I could have gone another 2 days if I'd let my hair down again. But it was time for a deep conditioning. For me, The Doux Mousse Def is a game changer!! I stopped wearing Wash n Go's years ago because of all of the work involved, because you DON'T literally wash and go. But with this product, start to finish for me is 15-20 minutes application and 1-2 hour(s) drying time. Manual curl separation after the hair is completely dry, 3-5 minutes. If you don't over apply, this leaves your curls soft, defined, moisturized, shiny, movable, and light. If you do, they'll still be beautiful curls, just a little crunchy. And, if you want extra shine, The Doux offers a light, misting oil. Fantastic product!! I'll definitely purchase again. The Doux has a new repeat customer!!

Works great on my curly hair! Loads of shiny curls, and it looks totally natural – not like a weave at all. This stuff really makes my curls pop. No mess, no drips, and it dries beautifully, making it easy to comb and style.

I used to use a several step curl routine until I got this, I absolutely love this product it makes my hair super soft and it has a great hold, I use it alongside a hair oil and it looks the best it has ever looked. The smell of it isn't overwhelming and is actually really nice. There isn't a whole lot in this one so I would recommend a bigger size if there is one or getting 2, but I do have longer hair so it would depend. One last final thing would be its use for curls, in most of the reviews I see type 3 and type 4 hair, but it also works amazing for type 2 hair!

This hair product came recommended or at least this brand of products were recommended by a hair stylist. This styling foam has a pleasant scent and dos not leave a greasy feel or film on the hair nor does it leave a sticky feel. Styling-wise, I have used this after shampooing my hair and also without shampooing. However, if I don't shampoo, I do spray water on my hair to dampen it. It's versatile, makes the hair shine with a nice gloss. A few squirts on the palm of the hand and rubbing hands together and applying it on the hair gives very nice results. I like the product. What would make it a 5-star? Better hold but not being stiff. (It does not feel stiff.) I will most likely re-order after I've finished with this bottle, because I do like the product on my hair..

used it to detangle , and flat twist my hair after shampoo, and towel drying. Hair was completely air dried within an hour. I unraveled my twisted braids with my fingers and voila, I had soft, shiny, well defined waves. More manageable than my hair when I air dry it with no product. The scent is very pleasant. It's lightweight, sticky on your hands but not on your hair.

I use on my sons hair to coil twist, it drys with a nice hold, it isn't frizzy. He has 4A/4B hair. I really like it and look forward to using it on my 4B/4C hair. I use in it in conjunction with a clear spray leave-in conditioner, on freshly washed hair.
