I really like this thing! I was in a pinch and needed my mother to drop my two boys at daycare for me. She has arthritis and cannot undo their buckles. I remembered seeing this product somewhere, so I came to Amazon hoping they had it available for 2 day prime shipping. Score! It arrived on time for my mother to use, and worked very well. I gave it to her to keep for these instances. It was a bit hard to use with my youngest son's Britax Boulevard because of the pad behind the buckle, but with a bit of wiggling, it did work. Also, my older son's Graco has a very thick buckle which it seemed this would not fit over at first, but again... A bit of wiggling it around and it did work though it was a tight fit. My mother was able to unbuckle my boys easily which is all that matters. This thing saved the day for me.

I have 2 kids in car seats and was really struggling with my new nails (a gift to myself once my second child was fully potty trained - ladies, you know). I had to use my knuckles to get the red button pushed, and they were getting rubbed raw. I knew there had to be a solution so I searched online and found this tool. I was skeptical, but having longer nails this past year is one of the few things that kept me feeling like the world was normal. Anyway, I can't believe I struggled for months before searching for something like this. It changed my life - seriously - some days I didn't know if I was going to get the kids out of their seats at all (tears were involved on numerous occasions). This little tool does exactly what it says with almost NO pressure needed AT ALL. Less pressure than it takes to turn the volume up on your cell phone, or type out a review on a keyboard. Highly recommend it for women with nails or anyone who has hand/finger issues. I bought another one for my mom who has arthritis. Get this, mom's/dad's/grandparents/caretakers!!!!!

I have the hardest time unlatching the car seat. I am not even concerned about breaking a nail, although this would help. It is just awkward to push the button and the straps are tight enough on the baby, not I am trying to slide hand behind the strap to get a better angle on the buckle...not anymore. The car seat key simply slides around the buckle, squeeze it, and Poof! Your little one is ready to get out of their chair. It is a bit bulky to add to my keys, but it has to be this way in order to fit around the buckle. I would recommend this to my friends. UPDATE: Two years later and my Car Seat Key has snapped in half, but I would definitely buy it again. My mother has had her's for two years and it is still as good as the day she bought it. I am kinda rough with my keys; throwing them and constantly dropping them. I do not fault the company for it breaking. It took two years of abuse for it to finally break, haha.

Quality is great very sturdy. I purchased because I do have long nails but it still takes quite a bit of effort to press down so not so sure for the very elderly. I am also using it on a brand new car seat that is pretty difficult either way to press the center button. I will say it is a little clunky on your keychain another alternative that I tried was to loop it on the car seat itself because my daughter would just play with it anyway. Overall it does exactly as advertise.
