I have the full size Beast blender also and it is fantastic. But this smaller form factor was very appealing to me, I have a small kitchen. And the terra cotta color is awesome and looks great on the counter next to my Wonder Oven in the same family of shades, from Our Place. The mini seems to be programed to run its auto cycle for longer than the 1 minute cycle of the larger version, but works just as well for my daily coffee shakes, which are made with ice cubes blended up. The only thing I like less is that the screw-on blender cap is no longer made with a silicone grippy part, which is much easier to work with in closing the cap tight before blending, especially with arthritic hands. But the latest iteration of the larger Beast also does not have that grippy bit, on the blender cap although it is still on other caps of both models. Aside from the great color, full functionality, smaller form factor which is awesome, I also really love the cap for drinks that is made for a straw to poke through, and the matching straws provided. I am keeping an eye out for additional straws to become available as accessories on the website, the machine comes with 2. The media could not be loaded. Perfect single serve blender! Love that it came with different lid and straw attachments. I do wish all 3 cups were the same size since I’ll mostly be using the large size but I’m sure I’ll still get use out of the others. I really like that it blends on its own so I can put my ingredients away while it’s blending or finish getting ready. Super convenient and time saving. It also blends things down really well and makes a perfectly smooth smoothie. I’m used to a large blender so it will take some getting used to how many things I can throw in at once but the smoothies I’ve made so far have been great! And I’m obsessed with the terra color! Love this blender, breaks up everything fast and pretty easy. It’s super easy to clean and I love I can transport it anywhere. Noise is not too loud, it does break up and make a smoothie in less than a minute. Love that it’s easy to remove off the blender and love that I don’t have to take the blade anywhere. I was ready to throw in the towel on this blender, but it was partially user error. 1. The max fill line is what it says, 2. This blender will shut down for a few seconds and restart, if you are taxing it, 3. There are sharp parts that one’s hands come unto contact with, 4. There is only one speed, 5. The volume that can be blended is rather minimal. However, once we got the hang of this, it blended the silkiest smoothie I have ever had. This would also be great for baby food. ... show more

Omggg I just got mine!! Love love love this freaking thing!! Makes the perfect single serving smoothie or shakes. Perfect for my protein shakes!! I own two really expensive nutri-bullets but I prefer this one for my daily protein drinks/meals. It’s so powerful yet chic!!

I purchased based off of good reviews and looks and made a huge mistake. I hate using this for smoothies. It does not blend powder (almost not at all). You can use very little frozen fruit to blend compared to some other brands. It’s too narrow for blending pieces to flow and blend evenly. It’s ribbed and narrow on inside making it hard to clean. The top rim is wide and not that great to drink from the top. I know that’s why they have accessories but I don’t like them either. I feel like half of what I paid for are accessories and smaller vessels that are useless to me. To top it off you have to hold the tiny blade piece and hand wash with small brush. The entire process is cumbersome. Smoothies should be enjoyable, not this! ... show more
