I absolutely love this Ninja blender and food processor. Honestly, it has been one of my best kitchen purchases on Amazon so far, and I would buy it again without hesitation. It comes with three different cups, which makes it really convenient depending on what you’re preparing. You can use the smaller one to process or chop food, depending on the speed you use. Each cup has its own blade, and they all work really well. The larger cups are especially great for smoothies because the blades blend fruit very quickly and leave everything nicely processed. I’ve had the chance to use it for quite a while before writing this review, and I’ve made all kinds of things with it. It still works perfectly, hasn’t developed any burning smell, and the motor is surprisingly fast and powerful. The plastic cups also feel sturdy and well made. One thing to keep in mind is that the blades are REALLY sharp, so be careful when washing or handling them. That sharpness is part of what makes this blender work so well, but you definitely don’t want to grab the blades carelessly. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s fast, powerful, versatile, and the quality is honestly much better than I expected for the price. Definitely one of those Amazon purchases I’m glad I made!

You get a lot for your money with this blender. Makes perfect green smoothies. I don't really use the other food processor bowls and blades that come with the set, but it's nice to know they're there. After reading other reviews, I always handle the blade by its top, and give it a spin to make sure the blade is centered on the spindle. The same sharpness that makes it dangerous makes it effective! It hasn't cut me yet. I was surprised at the quiet power the Ninja has, it is really remarkable. Best blender I've used. To me, it is better than a Vitamix. The motor-at-the-top arrangment is clever and logical. You pop in the blade, fill the pitcher, put on the lid, pop on the motor, and blend (quietly) away. My brother had talked about the health benefits he'd seen from drinking green smoothies. I'd seen Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, and wanted to try a diet change. Bought a juicer and this blender to make hybrid smoothies. Your taste may tend toward Margaritas, and I completely understand, but these days I'm trying out the green smoothie way. Here's a typical morning smoothie: For the liquid, you can use water, or fresh veggie juice. I use fresh veggie juice, perhaps to justify the purchase of my Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor- juice 3-4 large carrots and half a cucumber or zucchini. Sometimes if I have an extra apple or orange, or want a lime or ginger flavor, I juice those as well. Pour the water/veggie juice into the Ninja, along with... 1 cored apple (not peeled), one peeled orange (keep the white skin, lose the outer orange), 1 1/2 cups of Kale or Spinach (fresh or frozen), 2-3 teaspoons Spirulina, 1 banana, some frozen pineapple, peach, berries, or mango, 1/4 avacado, protein powder (I combine Rice Protein with Vega Vanilla is best), and sometimes frozen shelled edamame (soy beans). I vary the recipe depending on what's on hand, and rotate the kale and spinach. The blender keeps all the fiber of the kale/spinach, apple, orange, and fruit... along with the nutrients from the juiced veggies. Hybrid. The Breville juices fast, and cleans up fast. The Ninja blends it fast and well, and also cleans up fast. Tip 1: Pulse and blend. Do both and it will thoroughly all ingredients. If you only blend, it won't all mix. Tip 2: For weekday speed, move prep time to Sunday afternoon. You can prepare a series of smoothies using frozen spinach/kale, frozen fruits, and add-in-powders. Store them in the freezer in individual freezer containers. On a weekday morning, just pour a Ziploc into the Ninja. Add the apple (cored) and orange (peeled) fresh. If you have time, juice the carrots and cucumber, and add the juice. If you don't have time, add 2 cups of water. Tip 3: Freeze you Bananas! - Buy/wait for peak freshness. Peel whole bunch. Cut, and lay separated segments on wax paper in the freezer for an hour. Store in a Ziploc. Highly recommended blender.

This Ninja blender and food processor set has made cooking a lot easier. The powerful blender crushes ice and frozen fruit, resulting in smooth smoothies. The food processor attachment efficiently chops vegetables, makes sauces, and shreds cheese. The easy-to-switch-out and clean attachments are a plus. I love that it comes with three different bottoms so you don’t necessarily need to wash it if to use it again you can just change the bottom part. Absolutely the best!! Stop scrolling and get this one! The price can’t be beat and it works so well- it went well above my expectations. I bought this in February 2023, it’s now April 2026 and this blender has been used a minimum of 2-5x a week and still holding just as strong as day one! It is super simple to wash, use, store and the locking lids are the best! ****if you are having trouble with the lid not ‘going on’ it’s bc it needs to be lined up correctly- that was the only issue I had which wasn’t even an issue if I would have read the directions LOL

Pros: feels sturdy when blending, the top with the motor feels smooth and works well even after falling (my baby loves playing with it). Lids close pretty well. I use the smallest one the most to make hummus. Perfect size for one can of garbanzos. Cons: the jars are made of a good quality but it's still plastic and you can tell. After somw time it starts becoming whitish and it gets some cracks (I had my old one for like 3 or 4 years to get to that). Not the easiest to storage. The tall blender is more of a food processor. I wouldn't recommend for smoothies or soups. But works well for a fritatta or home made burgers.

So first for the low price I paid especially you get a lot and it gets the job done. Way more powerful than the old small ninja chopper which was struggling with hummus. My uses are Hummus/Salsa/Guac for the smaller guy, and Smoothies and butternut soup for the larger. All of the above it does, including handling the frozen berries. You just need the soup ingredients to not be hot obviously (the way I make it I like to look it some more after blending anyway so I'm fine with the plastic). The lids are annoying to clean. They have crevices and it's nearly impossible to let them drip dry at an angle where all the water can escape. Those same books are really difficult to handle clean also, I had to get out the little brush that comes with some difficult to clean water bottles, or try squeezing a sponge in etc. Not a problem for runnier things but hummus and peanut butter aren't the easiest thing to wash off with just the spray gun. It's also a lot of parts. The blades are 2 parts, then the lid, then the container then the motor. And the lid has a seal ring that comes out easily and you gonna want to wash that separately once in a while. A lot of space in the dish rack, awkward shapes, lots of things to wash for just a smoothie. The 2 piece blades are cool though because the top half is made to go up and down I guess, adding a pulsating effect. I guess I really preferred the design of the old smaller one, with a flat lit and a flat-ish motor unit. Easier to clean. Also my old blender for a smoothie most of the time didn't even splash up to the lid l, made a nice vortex, so I didn't even have to clean that. This thing, it's mayhem in there, splashing all over. It's all contained, no leaks or anything. I have to give a good rating because for the $35ish I paid to basically replace my old weaker ninja chopper (which I think I bought for $30-35 ~7y ago) as well as my recently burned out blender, I got great bang for the buck and it can handle what I need to throw at it. I lost ease of cleanup. But - I've had worse cleanup, at least everything is actually cleanable and there aren't nooks where it's literally impossible and then it gets gross - this isn't that bad. I never chop ice but the instructions manual does say it's supposed to be able to make shaved ice. One other thing to note is it says never to hold it more than 15s. I find that that's more than enough for a smoothie, and hummus I do 2 pulses of 15s with a taste test in-between, and it's good to go at that point IMO. In other words this thing packs a punch and that 15s seems sufficient I'm general I wish the blender container was made to stack on top of the chopper container, would result in a smaller footprint when storing. I'm not sure that this is really a space saver for that reason so if you're thinking small apartment one person save space, no. Affordable unit that can handle a bunch of stuff a cross between a chopper and a blender, yes Also the chopper and blender are basically the same thing just one is bigger. I don't think there's a material difference between the 2 besides volume and that the blades are farther apart. So you could theoretically put one away and use the other if the volume of stuff you're making fits in the smaller or is enough to cover both blades in the larger. In that regard it could be a space saver on the counter. As an example, I don't make enough hummusnfor the pitcher and my smoothies don't fit in the chopper so that doesn't work for me.

I was looking for a blender so that I could make some smoothies for my daytime eating (to make things easier and healthier), but didn't want to spend a fortune to get something that was easy to use, easy to clean, and a very good blender. A few friends of mine recommended a Ninja blender, so I decided to give this one a shot. I couldn't be happier with my choice! As a blender, I have to say this is by far the easiest to assemble, use, and clean that I've ever had access to. The blades go together in a second, and you just drop them down into the carafe onto the little peg to get them situated. For a typical smoothie, I toss in frozen berries, some ice cubes, a banana, some yogurt, and a little soy milk. The lid snaps on easily without having to play with it forever. Then just set the electrical component on top of the assembly and hold down the large (and only) button, and you're on your way! When everything's done whirring about, it pours nicely out the spout of the lid, and you can stick the whole thing in the fridge if you have some leftovers. Clean-up is amazingly simple, as well. Even when I use a soy protein powder, this thing practically rinses clean with just hot tap water. I've yet to need to scrub with any real effort to get it spotless, including the blades and lid. You can put it in the dishwasher, but it'll probably fair better if you wash it by hand. A few things you should keep in mind if you do purchase this blender: 1. The place where the electrical component attaches to the blade shafts can get spattered with the blender's contents if it's full enough, or if the mixture is thin enough. After using the blender, always check that little indentation on the electrical component and clean it immediately with a dry paper towel, cotton swab, or whatever else you have that'll fit in that area. If you let things dry up in that crevice, it can be hard to clean later. 2. The spout on the lid pours very well, but if there is anything on the rim of the spout when you go to snap it shut (as if to store leftover contents), then it will be spattered about your counter, wall, or shirt. Make sure you wipe that area nice and clean before closing the spout cover. 3. There is a tiny hole in the bottom of the blade shaft where it slides onto the peg inside the blender carafe. Make sure you have a pipe cleaner or thin wire brush (or something similar) to clean up inside that tiny crevice after use. I had a set of wire brushes meant for cleaning out straws and the spouts of sports bottles, and they work perfectly for this. 4. These blades are extremely sharp. Far sharper than those of any other blender I've used. Handle them with extreme care, unless you dislike having all the fingers you currently possess. 5. There is only one speed (Speed Awesome!) and you must hold down the button for it to blend, so you can't walk away from it after turning it on. You do have to stand there and keep the button down to have it continue blending for you. (Essentially, it only pulses.) Bottom line, I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a blender for a good price, and doesn't want to work too hard to clean it afterwards. It also comes with a food processor assembly, so you really can't go wrong!
