The media could not be loaded. We have a few hoverboard and we always wanted to get a one wheel, but they were really expensive. I was really happy to find this and the price was pretty affordable. It was a bit scary at first but gets easier once you get the hang of it. There’s a mini wheel on the back to keep the board level while you get on. The helper wheel pops back up to its hidden position after you push forward to lift off. Glad they added this for beginners. One other thing I found really helpful was using an office chair to help with balance. It would follow me around and I use it like a walking cane. I don’t push weight on it unless I need to. It helped made me feel safer while I figure out all the controls. Going forward and turning was pretty easy. Stopping to get off was the tricky to master for me. You’re supposed to lift your front feet up and step down. But the board will move back a little if you lighten the weight on the front without taking the feet off. There are pressure sensors on the front and back. So the trick is to do it fast. Because if you do it slow, your front is still holding the pressure, just lighter when you start to life front leg up. So do it fast and it’ll stop. Overall a really fun toy. It’s scarier than a hoverboard. But it allows for really good turns. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had been trying to teach my kid how to ride a skateboard for the past few months with no luck. However, I buy this and they can ride it within minutes, without falling off. The board itself is really easy to maneuver and when it comes to controlling it to move forward or backwards, you just step on a pedal. The pedals are located in the front and back so there's no specific way to ride this. This does light up and while it can be seen during the day, when it starts getting dark or is, that is when they can be clearly see. There is a bluetooth speaker on this but when you do the speaker and ride this at the same time, it does kill the battery a lot faster than if you are riding the board by itself. The grips are very strong to ensure you are steady and it is very durable. It is fully equipped with LED lights which are very fascinating and the Bluetooth speaker is amazing with loud crystal clear sound quality. The battery life is easily visible and it has a long lasting battery which is rechargeable and convenient.This is awesome for kids or adults. Very pleased with the overall price and value. Best present ever, says my 9 year old. He has ridden it every day since Christmas. Looks cool, seems sturdy. He got the hang of it, right out of the box. I don’t regret buying it, but I do think the battery life leaves something to be desired. I looked into that before I bought it, and it said battery life of approximately 3 miles. I don’t know how they came to that determination. But I’d say it’s more like 40 minutes of ride time. Good news, it fully charges quite quickly. ... show more

My teen was excited to add this hoverboard style to his collection. After two days and multiple tries from him and friends they could not get it to turn left or right or slightly turn. Board is only for straight seats which takes fun of wanting to ride around neighborhood and to skate park.
